I hear the team is much more athletic this year and Freshman are going to contribute early. Unlike last year several basketball players are going to play. However pitching will be a question mark. I also heard Patrick Smith will likely play this year but may not pitch at all. Can anyone verify this?

As far as I know, Patrick Smith is still playin,why wouldn't he play?

Shelby Valley will win around as many games as last season, and Patrick Smith might as well not pitch. He'll just be injured the whole season if he tries.
