Any Coaching Changes In The 14th and 15th?

I heard that a couple of schools in the 14th was going to make a change. In the 15th I heard pikeville and east ridge was going to make achange. I heard sheldon clark might be looking for a change!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that SC would be looking for a change. Coach Robin has been a tremendous icon over there. She was a heck of a player and an even better coach. Just hasn't had much talent as of late. I hope that this rumor is not true. It would be a shame. I am not sure of the other coaches and the changes.

Well, I heard today from a teacher @ Magoffin County that Steve Miller will not be back as the Lady Hornets coach next season. Does anyone know if this is true?

Don't really know. This is the second time I've been told this and from two different teachers at the high school. Don't know if it's true but I was just wondering myself that's why I posted and asked ppl to respond. I guess only time will tell.

Harmon isn't the head coach anymore. Roger Harless was this past year. Rumors are that he applied for the SC boy's coaching position.

I was unaware. She is still coaching an all star team (East regions 1-8 vs. West regions 9-16). I just assumed she was still coaching there. We all know what happens when you assume. lol

I dont know about Vanhoose but the Campbell that was mentioned I think is Denise Campbell, current head coach at Phelps, and was the head coach at East Ridge in its first season of existence. She also coached Alice Lloyd's womens team for many years.

Why do you make that remark? He is more successful than any coach in Magoffin Co. history. He is not going anywhere. Because they lost in the semi-finals of the regional tournament. I can name you several teams throughout the state that did not make it to the state tournament that were picked to be there. We can start with Lex. Catholic, do they need to replace their coach. I doubt it, everyone has a bad game. Steve Miller will be back at Magoffin Co. next season, get over it. The girls will be back in the weight room in 2 weeks.

I think that Campbell is an exellent coach and with a little talent would be a great asset to a program. LOOK FOR MANY COACHING CHANGES THIS YEAR! Wink

Why would Powell and Lee be gettin' a new coach?
-Coach Jones has been there forever and has a good girls program.
-Lee County is young, but has talent.

The Lady Hornets was built by Nehi West not Steve Miller.

Neil West did build the girls program; along with Steve Miller as his Assistant; It was Neil West's choice to move to the boys program, he knew when he left the girls program what kind of talent was coming up.

West has been gone for over three years, to take over the Boys program by his Choice.
Also because you are so stupid; I'll explain this to you. The head coach coaches the Varsity Program and over see's the Jr. Varsity players. They don't really have time to actually have much bearing on their instruction; because they have to give all their undivide attention to the Varsity Squad.
What this means is that the only one with much Varsity experience for Magoffin was Ashley Howard.
Micheala, Brittany, Megan Powers, Brianna Adams and Ashley Hall, were all Jr. Varsity Ball players, coached by Mr. Miller, prior to coach West leaving. They only became starters after Mr. Miller became Head Coach.
So if you are going to try and bash the coach, because you don't like him or for whatever reason. I would suggest you get your facts straight and try to come up with a more intelligent post.
Something for thought; if you don't like it. Attend another schools or stay home.

Coach Miller needs to spend more time watching his players on the floor instead of watching the people in the stands.
