Do pep club threads belong on the basketball or cheerleading forums?

Let's take a poll...I think the pep club threads belong in cheerleading.

I'll agree with cheerleading. They aren't participating in the stat book of the game.

Though, maybe the cheerleading forum shoud have a name upgrade to include pep sections/student sections/fans, whatever you prefer to call them.

I think basketball.
Even tho they are a cheering section.
We are an important part of the game.
So I say leave them where they are at.
At least people can see them this way.
Who looks at cheerleading besides the cheerleaders??

Basketball Forum. I think the pep section is a MAJOR part of a basketball game. The best games to attend are the ones with a great pep section. I love all the yelling and the painting and dressing up and the excitement. A good pep section and band is what makes a ballgame. I always try to sit close to the band and the pep section because I like all the energy they add to a game. That's the atmosphere that makes me want to go watch a ballgame when I could stay home and listen to it on the radio and save 5 bucks.

GOOOO HHS PEP SECTION
AND BAND OF GOLD!!!!!!!!

I have always heard sports announcers refer to the fans as "the 6th man", so I don't know why you would not included them in basketball. I know that I would rather play at home with my fan supports rather than going into a hostile gym with the opponents fans getting in my head. When you have a starter get in foul trouble where does the coach go....? He goes to his bench and calls on his 6th man.

I agree. A ballgame is much more exciting with the fans in full force.
