im going to say powell takes the 14th..in the first round i would get out to see the jbs-powell matchup...as also the buckhorn/brethitt

I think Hazard got the overall best draw, JBS really hurt themselves loosing to knott in the district championship. I see hazard making it to the championship easily but the other side of the bracket is a coin flip. The team comming out of the upper bracket is gonna have to win two tough games, then they will be rewarded with a shot at Hazard for the Title.

Have we forgot the "cinderella" story? Just because BHS lost to HHS doesn't mean it's midnight! I think BHS mahe very well have a chance in this!

Buckhorn is very capable of winning some games in this tournament and perhaps even the whole thing. I think it would be hard for them to beat 3 good teams consecutively as we saw in the 54th district tournament when they faced perry and Hazard back to back. Buckhorn is definitely the most dangerous team in the tournament and teams had best not take them lightly.

i see hazard in the championship, might have a good game against knott but i see them goin easily...now for the their oppenent its gonna be tough..i see powell upsetting jbs by 3 or more then i see breathitt beating buckhorn in first round....but in the semis between powell and breathitt im afraid to say..the crowd could play a huge factor in getting their teams pumpd but i would say powell might pull this one out by 2 in ot maybe even on a buzzer beater!!! should be a great tourney to watch..cant wait!!! I am expecting a lot of upsets in the 14th region tourney. During tournament time, anything can happen. I am expecting JBS and Hazard to be in the championship game..Goo Crusaders. and good luck to all the teams!

Hazard will have to step it up another notch now, they played very well on friday night against a fired up BHS team, but come tourny time nothing can be taken for granted. Now with the return of Matt Williams in the line up hazard should be able to take the first game easily, then i believe they will face KCC which also will be a tough game if they play the bulldogs like they did JBS. On the other side of the bracket its hard to tell, Breathit county will face a very good and rejuvanated BHS team and JBS should beat powell county in my opinion. Then Jbs would meet according to me Buckhorn and idk who will win in tht one. Hazard should make it to the finals.

I think the winner will be who ever comes out of the bottom bracket. Not sure who will though. hopefully it will be kcc.

Powell County is going to come in with alot of intensity. I dont think JBS will be able to handle the Pirates.

Hazard has too much on their side, two good wins in the district play... a good draw going into the region and Matt Williams is returning. Besides all that, hazard plays their best ball during high pressure games.....so I see hazard coming out on top of the 14th for the second year in row!!! GOOD LUCK DAWGS!!!!

I dont think KCC has enough to make it out of the region, theyre one of the stronger teams but I dont think they can win enough to get to state.

I was on the Perry Central bandwagon but, since Buckhorn knocked them off in district, I'm going with the Hazard Bulldogs!

I can't believe people really think Knott Co can win the region. I guess most of these people on here are Knott fans. I must remind you that they don't even have a winning record. They have won one big game all year, JBS. JBS is a big rival and of course it will be close and JBS has been playing just awful lately. JBS only beat Jenkins for heavens sake , by two points. Knott will be lucky to beat the Owls. I think they will then a real dose or reality when they play Hazard and lose big.

I wouldnt be that harsh about it, but no I dont think KCC can win the region. IMO they just dont have enough to put it all together to make it through region.

If powell can get out of there brutal side of the bracket. 4 of the top 5 teams in it all on the same side, then i think they will pull it out against Hazard who i believe will be there also in the championship game.
