IDK what it's gonna take for these boys to realize that when you let teams like Pikeville hang around, you are gonna be in for a fight til the very end. Paintsville had their chances to put the game away in the 3rd quarter but didn't, had their chances again in the 4th and didn't. They have got to get that killer mentality or they are gonna have a rough time from here on out. As for the refs, OMG!!!!! They are horrible, Sammy (the African American) is usually pretty consistent and the best one, but tonight he was horrible, Mike Walker was his usual self, terrible, the other did alright, he never made any bad calls, but he did miss a few on both teams. Ah, we all know we got the worst refs in the state so I guess there aint ne sense in talkin about it. As for Daniel Harmon, I hope he makes a speedy recovery, but I don't think he would have helped that much, Paintsville still would have won. Paintsville was without their usual 6th man Daniel Meade tonight as well.
Yes, it's true. The "Flat Gap Stallion" was ill with bronchitis and sick all week. He didn't even dress. Bundy and Grim, who FYI PIKEVILLE THUNDER, were BOTH at school were deathly ill. Saw Grim before 1st period and he was looking like he was going to hurl and sweating really bad. Didn't see Bundy until after lunch but he said he was sick too. Landon was also slightly injured. Hopefully Sat night they will be ready to go!

 I agree with you on this 100%. Sometimes you can't put a team away, but the Tigers could've put the Panthers away and had more than one chance to do it. They definately need to develop the killer instinct in order to make sure that one of their lesser opponents don't come back and bite them in the #$$!
But until they can figure it out, we'll keep taking the wins! But March will be here before you know it.

I tought I was going to see that killer instinct last night. But, then they started running their jibbs and over reacting. I think that they need to just learn to be like a duck and let the water run off their backs. Other teams know that the Tigers are hotblooded and as soon as the Tigers start getting any type of lead the other teams start pushing buttons untill they hit the right one. They just need to learn to be quiet and hit them where it hurts the most and that's the Score Board! Let's go Tigers! Use your God given abilities and NOT your Tongues and Fist. One more thing. How many times has a Ref. called a foul and you have convinced him to change his call? ZERO! Be quiet and keep playing. All it does is hurt you and your team when you draw that "T". Good Luck tonight and let's go to State!

I think Grimm took a complete cheap shot at Tim Honaker. Honaker was trying to go for the ball and yes he did foul, but i dont think that warrants fists being flung at his face. Does anyone know what Bell did to receive his Technical??? Im sure he did something just not sure what...

I agree Grimm shouldn't have TRIED to hit Honaker, well I don't even know if I would call that tryin to hit him but he did look like he tried to shove him but missed. Regaurdless there was ne call for it. As for Bell, lol, it was actually kinda funny. Mike Walker called the foul on him and Bell looked at Walker and said "That wasn't a foul" then turned away, Walker then said somethin that caught Bell's attention and Bell just turned around and gave him a death look, didn't say anything, just looked at him the wrong way I guess, then Walker T'd him up.

I had the perfect view of that call on Grimm. Honaker fouled Grimm, the whistle blew and then Honaker fouled him again and Grimm in frustration raised both arms out on each side of Honaker's head (with no attempt to hit him), but just making a "what is the deal" gesture which was in poor taste. Honaker should have stopped when the whistle blew, but he continued grabbing around Grimm's waste at the ball which seemed to be intentional. But that doesn't excuse Grimm's actions either, even though no physical harm was meant or intended by either player.

Im sure he did something just not sure what...No fists were flung....Honaker's foul pushed Grimm back and as he was going back, Grimm in retalliation threw both hands(open at that) in an attempt to get Honaker, who was still fouling after the whistle was blown.
It happened not more than 15 feet right in front of me. i was looking at them the whole time.
