Will South Laurel win the 13th?

I saw where corbin played them close and Bell co. is a pretty strong team along with other teams playing well. Will SL be able to pull out another Region Title?

I think sl will win the 13th because i think ty profitt is a good leader and i dont think he will let this happen

Yeah I think they will. Proffitt is an outstanding player and will lead the SL team to the sweet 16 again. Overall they have alot of height and strength and should do very well if they win the 13th.

I have to disagree konan... we all saw the performance that Bell Co. displayed in the WYMT and Corbin is also a major threat in the 13th... I am going to have to go with Bell County, South has no chance with their one star against a whole team of stars for Bell... Bell along with Shelby Valley are the best "TEAM" clubs IMO that i have seen in a while from the mountains... a pleasure to watch, and you have to pull for guys like that... they deserve it

they have more than Profitt, Smith and Hammonds are two of the top 5 in the region, South should win the 13th

If your talking about the 13th, then yeah. But if your talking about state tournament, im not really for sure about that one. Like I said about SL they have alot of height, and strength, but theres alot of other teams who are just as taller and just as more powerful than South Laurel, and that would call for a tougher challenge and tougher competition. I would love to see South Laurel make it and win it all, I have been a huge fan ever since they won State a few years back and wouldnt bother me if they made it back and done the same!

Three 13th region schools have gave the Cards all they wanted and then some. Knox Central leading at halftime. Clay County leading at the end of the first, and if a block-charge goes the other way in the 3rd quarter it could possibly be a 4 point game or less going into the 4, instead it was a 15 because the basket went and south rebounded the free throw and hit a three off of it. Corbin should have beat them the other night, lets not forget that the Cards have an upcoming trip to Log Mountain. I'm not saying they won't win it, but i'm saying that there is 4 teams in this region that could possibly upset them on a given night.
