With a win, Paintsvile can pretty much wrap up the #1 seed in the 57th. What are everyone's thoughts on this one?
I say the Tigers by double digits again.

Paintsville will win by more then what they did last time. Plus its in Paintsville so im looking for a run away game.

If the Hornets are hitting there shots, and the Hornets play smart and not let a lead go it could be the Hornets game..............But if the Hornets come out flat and scared, Paintsville by double figures.

Magoffin will keep it close. If Magoffin comes ready to play they can beat Paintsville. If they feed the ball to Rice and let him go to work they will have a good shot at beating Paintsville.

MC always brings their "A" game to PHS. I think it will be close, but Tigers on top!

Magoffin played the Tigers real well in there last encounter. I honestly believe if the Hornets can capture a lead in this game and defend the three point line, they could pull one out. But if they play into the Tigers game they will go down by 10 points again. I'll take Paintsville in a tight and low scoring affair 51 to 44.

Might be an upset pick, but I think they'll pull it out by 15+ since it's at home.

Paintsville will win this one. But MC always brings their A game and with the Tigers just finishing up with JC and having South Laurel on Sat., you have to hope that they are up for the game. If they are, then I say Tigers by 10, and if not, then it could be a little closer. But either way, I don't see MC winning this one.

I'm going to say Magoffin by 4 in a upset, they seem to be playing some pretty good ball...

Tigers by 9 points.

Paintsville will win this one by more than 10 baskets -- 22pts.

Paintsville by 15.

Paintsville should win, but I worry about a trap game coming off their biggest rivalry game, having already beat MC once this year, and a huge game with South Laurel looming.

Magoffin is no push over and some people ain't given them any credit.

MC isnt the powerhouse that you are tryin to make them out to be. We know that. What I think is trying to be said, is that any team can step up their play any given night, and this team has the ability to do just that. If they do step up their play tonight, we will see a good game. I don't think MC will just roll over and die because they are playing the mighty P-ville that hasn't lost a game in the last 8 years. Wait P-ville isn't the powerhouse that you were referring to either. Maybe we should just look at the 15th region as a toss up between any of the teams in the region with maybe the Valley being the lone standout. That is just my opinion.

Yeah Paintsville isn that good lol MC should kill them and Valley should win state easy!! Yeah right i was just kidding Paintsville should win this hands down, i really doubt MC will come in Pville and leave with the victory.:dontthink

Since Paintsville has only lost 10 games over the past 6 plus years, it will be tough for Magoffin to pull out a win on Paintsville's home floor. The fans will be fired up from both sides. Magoffin has played Paintsville tough over the years no matter where it's been played and this one should be the same tonight. If anyone is at the game tonight let's notice if the Tigers get the majority of the calls. Even last year when the Tigers played at Magoffin, there was a questionable charge called against the Hornets in last five seconds that could have made the game a different outcome. I guess when you have that kind of record at home you suppose to get them, but on the road? It's just not against the Hornets but other games as well. The Tigers have one of the best teams in the 15th region and have some good outside threats. Seems that no one is giving Magoffin any credit at all this season. Magoffin may not be the best team or have the most talent in the region, but I'm sure there some teams out there that would rather play someone else besides the Hornets when it comes tournament time. They play in the toughest District (57th) and on any given night can play with or beat any team in the 15th region.
Hornets need to have a big game from Rice, Arnett and all the others that contribute.
Magoffin 62
Paintsville 60

I had seen both Paintsville and MC play this year and this could be a good game. Paintsville has a very good team this year. In my opinion, the Fergeson kid is the best player they have, and as good as any in the region. I do feel that Paintsville was better on defense last year and I think the loss of Pugh has hurt them there.
The way I see it is MC is better in the front court and the Rice kid should dominate. Pville back court is better and can shoot the 3ball. If MC can keep Pville out of trasistion points and defense the 3ball, as well as dominate under the boards, they have a great shot of upsetting the Tigers. If not, it will be a long night at Pville. Should be a great game.

I believe my Tigers will win this one. It will be a good game!
I am looking forward to this one. We don't sell reserved seat tickets on the opponents side of the floor or try to impose upon the opponents cheering section, so it should be a lively evening on Second Street. Good Luck to all participants & Have a safe trip!
