You wouldve had to have been there to understand .. its not allowed to down refs on here so im not going to .. but powell didnt lay down .. every single one of them busted there butts until the buzzer sounded at the end .. there was some pretty rediculus stuff in this game .. y does everyone try to fight romans .. that must be in everyones gameplan b/c everygame someone has tried to take out romans .. just play ball .. powell outplayed kcc and shouldve won by 10+

Romans tackled the boy then while they was on the ground he threw 3 big bows and that boy just layed there and didn't do anything back, so i don't get how that boy he tackled tried to fight romans???

I watched Hazard tonight but I heard that Knott Co. just outplayed Powell. Heard that it was a physical game. anybody know anything else?

You can really tell who is jealous. Romans backtalked the refs the whole game and threw blows to everage and huff. They took romans out of his game and he couldn't handle it. And baseballking, the only ridiculous stuff goin on this game was powells sportsmanship. The whole team was tryin to fight and get in someones face. IMO, when powell got down big they started playin dirty. Like it or not, KCC was the better team tonight.

How did the game go? Did the Pats lead the whole game? Give us some info. When the Pats played Hazard they never seemed to be in the game. How are things looking before the All-A?

for two nights in a row, the other team has played powell dirty. there were fouls on top of fouls that wasnt called, but when powell attempted to return the favor, before the foul would even happen the whistle was blown. it was ridiculus tonight and last night. romans does not play as dirty as other players in the state. he was not off his game. powell done everything in their power to keep it close but certain things happend that was out of their control. when you get screwed on back to back nights and one on ur home court, somn is up.

Oh so you are tryin to say the Huff started the fight with Romans when he didn't even throw a punch. Romans just threw three consecutive punches at Huff, but no, KCC played dirty. KCC was down two in the fourth and blew them out of the water in that quarter, like it or not. Powell was the dirty team tonight and KCC done a good job keeping their head, unlike Powell. But oh, I forgot, KCC was the dirty team when Powell threw all the punches.

The game was very physical tonight, and I think that Powell got a little frustrated when the patriots started pushing out the lead. I don't think either team got screwed. The refs were very consistant. And Dawggie Kcc was just down by two to hazard with three minutes left and had the lead the whole first half. I don't get how you think they were never in the game.

things were happening on both ends of the court that should have been acknowledged but wasnt. and the technical romans got happend 15-20 seconds after the pile up. a parent was yelling and the next thing i saw was the ref look at romans who was at the other end of the free throwlane get t'ed up for no reason. it was a pile up, what do you think is going to happen at the bottom. powell is a physical team when are you all gonna learn that. they are not dirty, kcc wasnt that dirty but they fouled alot and didnt get called for it. i usually congratulate other teams but they should not have won tonight. and as for romans palying dirty, id like to see ya say that to his face.

There isn't any 2 refs in the nation that could cause a 24 point loss. I think powell is a good team but they just got outplayed tonight. Bottom Line.

Well i think throwing punches is a little too physical, don't you? But say what you will, it doesn't really matter to me. You can make as many excuses as you want but KCC is the better team and they showed it tonight.

That is exactly the type of attitude that keeps romans in trouble, great player attitude is out there somewhere. Powell needs to learn this is basketball not the WWE. it is not who is the meanest but who plays th game the best. IF POWELL COULD GET FOCUSED ON BASKETBALL WATCH OUT 14 TH THEY COULD PLAY WITH ANYONE

Last nights game was rediculous. The officials let it get way out of hand for both teams. And for those of you who said that romans threw punches you need to get your facts straight. If he would have punched anyone he would have been tossed out of the game. Powell was out of their rythm and played KCC's type of basketball. Don't worry pirates you'll bounce back.

you dont blame a 24 point loss on your home floor on the refs, Please. quit trying to make so many weak excuses, the bottom line is powell is a decent team that needs to be sharp to beat good teams. the 12 day layoff they had has effected them, i am sure you see that now. you just better hope they can work their way back into good playing condition before they loose confidence. they have a good coach and will comeback and have a good year, but they dont have the talent to beat JBS or HAZARD.

doctor you know nothing what so ever about powell county. im telling you when powell beats hazard feb. 9th maybe you all will shut up. powell is talented all over the floor. how many teams in the 14th or in the state has a team where every player on the team could start? not that many if any. powell is deep and very talented, the score on this game does not show nothing. the turning point was when powell was down by 6 with 3 mins to go and romans got the technical and knott hit both free throws then hit a 3 givin them a 11 point lead then when trying to guard touch fouls were called everytime causing knott to get the lead and continue. powell had the game under control until this happend. powell can beat any one in this region where everyone thinks jbs is the all mighty basketball god, they are not. i really hope both teams loose first round of districts so powell wont have to do it for them, cause as soon as they do the lucky chants will start. powell is the most talented and deepest team in the region, it will be proven in the next couple of months.

powell is a good team but there are not the best team in this region and won't be. They never had control of this game knott lead the whole way and when it was getting out of reach powell lost there heads.

Stroked, Powell had a two point lead in the fourth. The refs did not lose this game. If you think that referees can make up a 26 point difference in one quarter than you know absolutely nothing about basketball. Powell got outplayed, plain and simple. Now I will agree that Powell is probably one of the deepest teams in the state, but it won't help them a bit if they can't keep there head.
