If McCarty had 40, the team had 79. The rest of the team only had 39. So he outscored the rest of them put together.

He actually had 39. The radio said they accidentally gave him an extra point which belonged to crum. Welch had another nice game with 19 points, this kid keeps improving every time out.

Great win tonight JC. They played good team ball especially in the first period. I was really impressed with their defense during the first half. Allen Central really hustled on defense also. If the eagles can play like that next week, they might actually stand a chance against the cross town rivals. Maybe this win will be enough to keep them hungry for the win. Congrats to both teams on a hard fought game.

Congrats to Johnson Central. AC couldnt pull down the boards if they tryed, that was one of the reasons got they got beat. And Mccarty had a good scoring game with 39. Does anyone know how many shots he attempted? Just curious.

Don't know how many he shot but I'de say he shot at least 65 % from the field. He hit just about everything he shot.

The Rebels have the heart but simply don't have the individual talent to compete with JC @JC when McCarty hitting..I guess I'd call this a mild upset, but not a big shocker.

Nice win for the eagles to end the 8 game skid but McCarty is just now 100% and with rice improving the will be a factor the rest of the way. AC has been winning these close games lately but is still about mid pack in the region because they do not have the one go to player but with their heart and hustle will still be there in the end

JC is good, but the 8 game losing streak just shows why they can't rely on one player night in and night out. On a good night for McCarry, they could give any team a good game. But what if he is hurt as he has been or is not shooting good. They need to get the other players more involved. And there is still a lot of talent at JC that is not on the team. Starnes has to get those guys out there. Matney doesn't have any trouble getting huge turnouts.

I aint no rebel fan or nothing but i was at the game and i have to say the rebels got this took away from them the refs were horrible.... and also i'm not saying nothing bad about McCarty. He is pretty good but if he will pass the ball to his team they could win some ball games.. I'm sure if you give Jarred Crum or that Welch kid as many shots as McCarty took i'm sure they could hit them to...

The refs usually are. But you can't blame the refs. They only make a difference in the close games and this one shouldn't have been close. But when McCarty is on JC is hard to beat.
