Who plays a Harder Schedule?? 14th or 15th Region
#1
To me the 14th plays alot harder schedule than the 15th
#2
Although I voted for the 15th because no one else has so far..lol, I would have to say that they are both pretty even. Its tough for the schools around here to go to these bigger tournaments and play these teams out of Louisville and Lexington. Both regions are pretty even with their scheduling.
#3
Did anyone from the 15th go play teams in Lexington tho
#4
idk the 15th region schedule but the 14th region teams have played alot of tough teams
#5
Well Paintsvilles first two games to start off the season were againist Bryan Station who they lost to by 7 points, and then the next night played Henry Clay and was beat by 10 points respectively. And those two teams are the elite of the state. Even Johnson Central who played in one of the toughest tournaments in the state in the 5/3rd classic played a team or two out of Louisville if im not mistaking. But maybe youl could inform me on some of the 14th region scheduling because I really dont know as much as I do about the 15th, just that they do have pretty tough scheduling. Thanks
#6
Well I know that SV hasent played no teams from Lex.
#7
They did play Bell Co. from the 14th and beat them by 3 in overtime. So right theres a quality opponent, but no I dont think they have played anyone from Lex. or L'ville.

My bad Bell Co. is from the 13th.
#9
there are more teams out their than lex or l'ville teams that are good

true but noone in KY is gonna play them
#11
Except Lexington teams which take me back to playing Lex teams
#12
True, but Im just saying though, first thought always comes to my mind if someone ask me about a good team, I always think of someone from Lex. or Louisville. Just look at the out of state teams that have played teams from the 14th and 15th.
#13
All I know is JBS and Hazard have both played in Tournys in Lex....Most of the out of state teams that Teams in Eastern KY play are horrible
#14
what lex. tournament did hazard play in? and yeah most out of states team the 14th and 15th play are pretty bad
#15

Hazard played in the Defenders Of The Station tournament hosted at Bryan Station I would assume.
#16
Shelby Valley has already played Louisville Shawnee, plays Paul Dunbar, and I was told they picked up Warren Central.

You are correct, along with Johnson central
#18
14th by far, with Hazard playing Madison Central, Holmes, and Paul Dunbar, JBS playing Mason County, Lexington Catholic, and Louisville Trinity, KCC has played Dupont Manual, and Ashland Blazer

Shawnee isnt a powerhouse, they are 7-8, and neither is Paul Dubar, being 5-8

Nobody asked about powerhouses, they just asked about Lex./Louisville teams, read the previous posts before you start stating things.

Paintsville has played-Bryan Station, Henry Clay, Olympia Fla. 6A team and ranked in Fl., Port St. Joe which is ranked 5th in 5A in Fl., Alcoa Tn.
All of these teams are as good or better than any the 14th has played.
Johnson Central has played Iroquois, Holmes and Ashland.
Lawrence plays Rose Hill twice.
Mag. Co has played Iroquois, Ashland, Mongomery Co. Muhlenburg So.

Heck...looks like the 57th dist. alone has a harder schedule that the 14th region.

Hazard has played Holmes,Ryle,Lafayette,Madison Central
JBS has played Mason County,Trinity, Lexington Catholic
Leslie County has played John Hardin
Estill has played George Rogers Clark,Montgomory County,Madison Southern, the play Henry Clary later on in the year
Lee County has played Madison Central
Knott has played East Jessamaine,Highlands,Manual, Ashland Blazer
Perry has played Mason County
Powell has played Iroquis and Montogomery County. and East Carter

so saying that the 57th has played a harder schedule then the whole 14th region is pretty, dumb

But for some to say 14th by far is pretty dumb. Also, I guess it would have been a more true statement and said that the 57th 's schedule alone is as hard as the 14th region.
