Is JBS OverRated?

Yea they would be hard to be if they were a team....They didnt work wit Garrison so hes not a threat, Cox wont get to do his thing because Its Stepps team, and Stepp thinks he is the Team...Clint, well I cant say nuttin about him cause he dont do nuttin

I hope that Jbs can beat Pineville and Hazard can beat Shelby Valley but i believe that Hazard will get beat by 5 to Shelby valley and Jbs will barely escape against Pineville

Clint Stepp.. contributing? what games have you been watching.. the 2 of the ten games are the only 1's he has shot over 25% and had 12 and 10.. rest of the games 3 n 4 points?

They are a good TEAM, but nobody is a good one man show. I am not throwing off on anyone, none of them can do it alone. It's gonna take the team .

Why would they start him then? So he can pass the ball to Clark and nobody else will have to do anything. Good plan.

The only 3 teams JBS has played with winning records have all been losses to this point if I'm not mistaken. I think they have good players, but a bad team. I agree that JBS overrates themselves while the rest of the 14th dosen't really like them. Overall, they are probably the least liked team in the 14th.

I guess you think everyone likes you and your team. Who cares , it is not about being liked. We could have played much closer in the 5/3 if we had played team ball. It could have been a good experience. Maybe they did learn a few tricks.

lol yes it is about being like, If your liked ppl comes to watch u play games, which means they have to pay to get in...If there is no money being made, they wouldnt be no games played

well when I went to watch Mason Co up here in Lexington, I really could care less if they won or lost...All I wanted to see was how good Miller is.

Miller is a very unselfish player, who makes his team look good. He passes when he really should shoot. That is why college teams want him. If his team needs him he is there to pull them up. He don't always get the most points, but he plays the best game. I'd rather see a good player make a pretty pass to some one for a basket then to see someone shoot their arm off and hit 25%. You went to see him cause he is a winner.

:lmao: Couldn't have said it better my friend.. and I pretty well agree with everyone else on here.. JBS has over rated themselves but I mean hey let them brag and have their moment since they've never had the chance to be anything before.. Just too bad it's all going to their head and they're gonna be humiliated before season is over because there are too many other great players like Hicks, Bailey, Mosley, Stamper, just to name a few. But Stepp a Team only in his dreams he's a good ball player but he is not a Team and never will be.. Hicks will shut him down at any time, so will Bailey or Mosley so enjoy JBS it won't last long..:rockon:

I don't see whats weird about it. Miller is a good player. I know a good player when I see one. Some of the others you mentioned will never make it to any college. Some will. but just shooting 3's is not all it takes. You have to have more skills then that.

right now the 14th is really up for grabs and not between 3 or 4 teams im talkin about 7 or 8 teams any given night can beat the top teams in the region and to be saying that only hazard perry cen. or jbs are the only teams that have a chance of winning is just plain dumb there are to many solid teams like breathitt, powell, knott co. but as for jbs being over rated true they aren't going to sweep the region like i just said to many good teams.

U was talking about how good of a team player Miller is and how u like that but also u brag about Stepp...Stepp isnt a team player tho

Sounds like a little jealousy to me there 3 points of a certain 3 point shooter in the 14th.

One thing that everyone on this post has forgot to mention is that offense is only half of the game. Defense is what separates the pretenders from the contenders. J.B.S. is a solid offensive team but has some improvement to make on the defensive end.

Hicks is not the only one you mentioned. I said some you mentioned wouldn't and some would. Hicks is a very good player and you try to be a player of the mind. You can forget that. I'm sure Hick will go to college. I have no idea who is recruiting him, but I am sure he is being recruited. He just don't brag about it.

the only reason this thread was created is because everyone hates the stepps..this thread should b called "stepps overrated?"...in my opinion, the stepps r overrated, but the TEAM is not...but i also think that another reason that jbs is so hated is because it is such a small school and bigger schools cant stand the fact that they r actually getting beat by them...suck it up..jbs is a good TEAM, and the only thing overrated about them is the coaching staff..

Not sure how you all are getting this..This is a team who took Hazard to the wire last year in the 14th region tourney and has EVERYONE back...So much jealousy with JBS.
