Well you guys are being pretty stupid, JBS is seriously one of the best teams around, if either Lexington Catholic or Trinity came to the mountains, they wouldnt have a chance in the world, basketball is ALOT different in the city's then it is back home in the mountains, Lexington Catholic got all the calls against JBS, when JBS was up on them, the refs let off, they didnt call a thing, double dribbles, walks, fouls, stupid stuff, that didnt even happen, all you people do on here is down JBS, because they are no longer one of those teams like Riverside, and Piarist, they have shown that they are a threat, you guys always are on Stepps case, when he is one of if not the best ballhandler in the state, he WILL play college ball, D-1 ball, mark it down. All of you need to grow up and see that Stepp and JBS are the real deal, they will win the 14th, and they will have a good state tournament, people need to accept it.

Yeah your right, i guess that is why Mississippi States sends him a letter about every other day? and he has been invited to 5 star camps i dont know how many times?

Cry a little why don't you. You didn't get beat you got cheated? You lost deal with it. They will win the 14th and have a great state tournament like the tournemaent they were just in, they got beat bad. Oh my bad the got cheated.

Someone is mad because they got beat and bad. Beat Scott co by 55 points. Didn't thay beat JBS by like a 100 this summer.

gaww please never bring up that u won second in AAU, noone cares about summer ball, Mason County yea like there really the second best team in the State....No one is dissin JBS as a team, JBS is a good team and will be hard to beat

Nice showing by JBS in the 5/3rd. Trinity is not the powerehouse that they used to be either. If JBS would have played team ball in the tournament they would have done better instead of trying to get one player a schlorship. COx is the best player on that team and he gets frozen out when the fourth quarter comes and Stepp wantes to get his points. Feel sorry for him.

Couldn't think of anything to say, now could you? Running off at the mouth about language arts department. Who cares? That is not what this is about. Nobody took anybody that would go to your school anyway. All the starters but one went to JBS all their school years. The one that didn't tried to get into your school 3 different times and you left him sitting alone and he had to sit for hours for a ride home. He is an A+ student and a very good athlete. What happened to what ever department that takes care of those kind of things.They must be in trouble.

Where is the kid from, was he from a diiferent school system, if he was from Knott why would he have to try to get in. I mean if he lives in the district he is in. This seems a stretch to me that he tried 3 times and was left with no ride. Maybe he called one of the Stepps for a ride home.
I would like to add that I believe the head coach of the JBS boys is Jim and Gary and Joe run the college. If I am correct I want to say that JIm is a class act and a solid coach. I have competed as a coach with JBS over the past years and have respect for Jim. I have never heard hin act like Gary and Joe whom I have dealt with and have no respect for. Left alone he would be good for Clark. But Gary can not keep his nose out of the high school bball program. Too bad for JBS

He was in the 8th grade in a Knott co. grade school when all this went down. He was going to KCC for practice but practice was cancelled. They called his grade school to tell him but the bus had already left. From what HE told me was that JBS had been trying to get him to come there. HE told me that they said he could get in for free no questions asked. Everything would be taken care of. HE said they had been calling him to come and play baseball and basketball. This is how they work. Is this legal? Anyone?

His daddy came and got him. [3 times] He then took him to JBS and he started school over there. And he likes it. He starts and is a good player. All the boys like him. So don't say anybody took him or gave him anything. He just got tired of the way you treated him. He is very smart and a good kid.
