powell jv has been playin well...how does everyone think the turnout of this game will be???If if the big 4, in hawkins, crowe, conley, and brewer have good games then no one's jv team can beat them they have unlimited potential. they just need to find that number 5 starter and they will be unstoppable.

I really dont think I would say they would be unstoppable. Even if they found that number 5 guy and had another on the bench. They would be very stoppable. Shelby Valley laid the smack down on them. As I am sure there will be others.

oneida had no tall players and powell was just settling in and was not running plays or nothing . when they got the ball up the floor they always scored on shelby valley . they just couldnt get the ball up the floor . now that they have a press offense they would murder shelby valley with size and skill. is all sv had was quickness . powells guards were bigger then sv's big guys.

powell only lost this game by 2 final score 46-44 great game powell could have won but conley picked up two early fouls and Hawkins didnt play in the 4th quarter. Kevin Jarvis played instead. (who knows why)

Kevin Jarvis earned his playing time .. clearly out hustling hawkins and rice, who are the best defensive on the team, who were sitting on the bench .. if Kevin Jarvis plays defense and hustle's like he has been i look to see this happening more often .. Jarvis does need to be more careful on game winning shots tho lol

jarvis played because hawkins made the coach mad. how else could hawkins sat out a whole quarter when he has only sat 26 seconds in their first 3 games combined. but jarvis does play hard and contribute but hawkins setting is not going to become a regular thing.

Jarvis may have played hard but he does not have much expierence Powell should have had Hawkins playing. Even if the coach was mad at hawkins they could have found someone else instead. Why not Billy Rice or maybe Jeremy Mays

I didn't get to see the Powell/OBI game, but if they played like they did against lee last night then it was probably a good game. I think the JV Pirates are doing great. Keep it up boys!

Jarvis is a junior on the pirates jv team he is not very expirienced and he cant shoot very well but he does hustle and pull down a couple boards
