Lady Hornets pull out a victory against a very underated, and talented Lady Bruin basketball team, they had 1 girl 6'3, and a couple other starters 5'11. The Lady Hornets led by as many as 11 in the first half, and also had an 11 point lead in the second half, both teams played real hard and with alot of heart, if Ballard is the 6th best team in their region that is the best region in the state, the Lady Hornets also played without Michaela Howard, she will probably be ready for the next game. Louisville Ballard is a well coached, big, and talented team, by the end of the season don't be suprised if they could compete strongly for their regional title. GOOD JOB LADY HORNETS!:Cheerlead

I might also need to add that senior Ashley Jade Howard was the leading scorer with 37.

A lot closer than I expected. I seen Ballard play some during the summer while visiting family and they really didn't impress me at all and they had all their players at camp. Great win though, Magoffin is the favorite this year in the region and they need some close games IMO to keep them grounded.
