For many other teams, he could be a solid number 2 receiver, so will he stay in Cinci being content with being behind Chad and TJ?? Does he not even have a choice because no team would take a chance on him with all the off-field issues??

Prolly the player I like the least out of the Benals. Hes had alot of bad things happen to him off the field/
12-03-2006, 01:56 PM
I like Chris a lot.....I hope he stays, but I do not think teams would hesitate to pull him onto their wagon. Many teams would take chances on T.O. and Randy Moss, even though they don't have that many off the field incidents, they do destroy locker rooms.

Henry is a thug, good player, but he is a thug. Everything that has happened to him off the field he has brought on himself.

Chris is one of the most underrated receivers in the National Football League. He provides Carson Palmer with a 3rd option when Johnson and Houshmandzadeh are covered tight. Although he has had numerous off-field incidents, I think Marvin Lewis and his coaching staff will sort through the issues and enforce greater amounts of discipline on the team. Henry is a great athlete, and I hope he continues his career in Cincinnati.

I agree, he's great coming from the slot and running underneath....... I think it fits him perfect, I'm not sure how good he'd be as the star receiver

Then they'd teach him to roll over the other team's quarterback's knees

you have got to be kidding me..are you still whining about Kimo being BLOCKED INTO YOUR QUARTERBACK?? Other than you being too stupid to realize that, or you would listen to your quarterback when he said himself that he didnt think Kimo did that on purpose. So keep whining Fritz, thats all you do. You are a straight up crybaby, and I thought I took losing hard, but I dont sit around and cry about it. Yeah I was mad at Emmitt over Superbowl XXX when I thought he was three feet short from the goal line, but eventually I got over it. I was mad at Laettner when he stepped on Aminu's chest, then hit the shot, but slowly I got over it. You just need to admit, that 1/ even though your a crybaby, it was a play where a 300 lb man unfortunately couldnt have stopped in mid-air, DURING a block..because well, 300 lb men cant stop in mid air..2/ even though your a crybaby, even you have to admit that even with Carson in the game, you would have still lost, and you'd have to find another excuse on why you didnt win the game...and 3/ even though your a crybaby, I get to sit here and tell you, that your group of inmates you call a pro football team will NEVER win a superbowl, and if you want to learn what it takes to win superbowls, put in that tape of last years wild card game and watch how my Steelers dismantled your freakin Bengals..IN CINCY..Hell, I could sit here and blame Colclough for muffing the ball and handing you guys the game, but I wont...I dont give a crap what you say, or any other Bengal fan says for that matter, it was and still is unfortunate that Kimo couldnt wing his fatass away from Carsons knee, but it wouldnt have mattered..You lost. We won. We won the whole damn thing. Your team never will. So go ahead and run your trap about how we're struggling this year. I could blame it on the lady driving the car that Big Ben smashed into on his motorcycle. I could blame it on the doctors for not getting him to heal faster after his emergency apendectomy. I could blame it on the fact that we're minus a 270 lb running back that just happened to be the greatest short yardage back in the history of the NFL (yes, even better than the immortal Ickey Woods). I could blame it on losing Kimo "Carsons Assassin" Von Oelhoffen. I could blame it on anything, but I wont. We're losing because we just got beat 7 out of 13 games. Thats it, and write it down, pal, December 31st, Ill be there watching Pittsburgh knock the knees out of Cincy and put you out of the playoffs, and YOU out of your misery. Then Ill come home and see what kind of crying excuse you have for that game. Thatll give you some good crying material, wont it? Who Dey? We Dey.

First off, I guess I don't have as much football knowledge as you, you're a genius and the Einstein of football knowledge, you know everything, anybody else is wrong in anything they say.
Second, even if he was being blocked, he still had time to dive to the left or the right and miss Carson's knee, he wasn't in air when Carson released the ball. IT WAS 2 SECONDS LATER
Third, the thing about your players, that's stupid, one retired, one left, and one refused to wear a helmet. That has nothing to do with taking a cheap shot on the field.
Fourth, there's a difference between whining and pointing out what happened and pointing out that the Steelers won a tainted Super Bowl. And, if you knew that I've been to the gates of hell, you'd feel pretty stupid about calling me a crybaby.
Fifth, that's a joke about the Steelers winning in Cinci, unless we have the Wild Card locked up and sit our starters.

you said the thing with my teams' players was stupid and your whole team has been arrested? And it was NOT two seconds later..he didnt have time to do anything except be blocked into Carson....listen to your quarterback Fritz, even he'll tell you it wasnt intentional. And you can say what the hell ever about a "tainted" superbowl. Thats bullshit, and you know it. Your just complaining because the Brown family just realized how to run a franchise four years ago, and while your Bengals were going 3-13, getting outnumbered by Steelers fans on your own field, we were in the playoffs fighting for a superbowl. Yeah that winning season for the first time in 800 years gave your fans some confidence. Hell last year there were as many Bengal fans there as Steeler fans! But it didnt matter because we still whipped your asses on your field. This is the beauty being a Steelers fan. Because since all the fairweather fans have put their Chargers gear on, we soldier on, and knowing that, even you can admit that Pittsburgh owns your Bengals in Cincy..or should I say Heinz Field South? And your right, my football knowledge is that great. And I do know that much more than you. No you wasnt pointing out anything, other than you dont know crap about what its like to play football and be blocked into someone.

yeah, tell me about it...been arguing with them for 20+ years, and even though we have five superbowls, 800 division titles and been to 480 AFC championship games, their 11-5 season last year is somehow better than all of that. But your right about Henry, couldnt have said it better myself.

I've been behind in my posting big time.
Personally, IMO (I was at this game, ninth row from the field on the 35) Kimo's hit was dirty. GRANTED, he WAS BLOCKED down into the pocket, but the hit could have EASILY been avoided. It wasn't a Roughing the QB, but it was INCREDIBLY dirty, and COULD BE AVOIDED.
And yes, Cincy loses on that play. They could have won the AFC championship with Carson.
