How were you disciplined when you were a child?

I usually got the ole hand to the rear, but when I messed up bad it was leather belt time. A couple of times, it was a willow switch, those things suck, wrap around your legs and get you twice. I guess it was for the better though, I turned out alright.

Hey everyone...would you rather mom or dad whip you when you was a kid?
this is easy for me MOM....I would laugh at her sometimes....DADS are so intimadating???Do you all agree?

I agree completely, my dad is 51 and can still tear me apart when we box. I dont think Id fight him unless he was in a wheelchair or something.

My mom is crazy... she got this evil look in her eyes when she got mad.. So i would pick getting in trouble by dad.

HAHA...my dad is 44 and there is NO WAY IN HAYTIES I would even try to fight him...I have always heard you will never beat your dad at anything because he is the one who taught you everything?...Neone agree?

well yea but i mean general things he can do....I can beat my dad at bowling and throwing football he was a lineman....I was too but can throw a good spiral lol....My dad has had a total knee replacement due to football in 1979, had his little pinkie toe amputated due to a 750 pound pipe dropping on it, and now hes offa work because he got metal in his eye and had to have immidiate surgery at UK last thursday...it about put his eye out...He cant see out of it right now so mom and I are playing doctor....He has to have an implant lens put in his eye once it heals......SO he has had a surgery led life i guess you can say.......OR MAYBE hes an accident waiting to happen who knows?lol

I was always the type not to cry or show pain. My dad would beat with his belt forever until i cried. By that time, i couldnt carely sit down. I came home drunk one time and thats when i really got it. I couldnt feel anything so he beat me forever. Then he got smart and started beating on my legs. I finaly cried lol My mom rarely ever whipped me.

Whatever was in reach, basically. I think I'm the reason my Mom realized a flyswat was a good peace maker. I would also get the "break a switch off the tree" on occasion.

or how about when they tell you to "go get ur own switch from that tree over there" I'd always come back with the smallest one I could find, and then they'd send me back to get another one lol

Buddy I got some good ones. When I was younger it was anything mom could get her hands on. Like paddle, switch, her own hand, hair brush or whatever. When I got older to where those things didn't bother me as bad (15-17) She used anything she could get her hands on literally like my neck, telephones, dishes, glasses. Needless to say, she has a pretty good arm. LOL

Well, my parents never were into the grounding thing so i usuaully got the big ol' hand of my dads or a big thick belt (i always had to pick the belt) lol
trust me tho id rather the belt than the hand any day!

Grounded. Whipped by hand, fly swat, switches, belts...anything she could get a hold of I guess lol. My mom always disciplined me because my dad was never around. When my step-dad tried to I would just laugh at him. I HATED being grounded!!

My mom always took my phone b/c I had my own phone line...that was like a death sentence and she knew it!
