Montgomery County has hired Lee County's Gene Combs as their new head coach. Combs was very successful at the class A size school. He is a great coach. I believe his Lee County teams won the 14th region twice. He sholud do great at a school the size of Montgomery.
Look out 10th region teams. Combs knows how to build a winner.

I do agree. Montgomery has made an excellent decision for their new coach. Gene Combs will make a huge difference in the baseball program at MCHS. Although it will take him some time to get this program off to a good start when coming in with a young an inexperienced team. He will do a fine job.

I think that Gene Combs will lead Mongomery County to many victories in the next few years.

They have alot of young players this year which if they see the field at all..should help them in the longrun during junior or senior years.JMO.
