Who does everyone think will win it in the Regional Championship game in regions 1,2,3 and 4?
For region one, ill take Mayfield and Fulton
region two, I think its a toss up between Bardstown,Danville and Frankfort
region three, another toss up between Beechwood,Newport Central Catholic, and Holy Cross (Covington)
region four, also a toss up between Pikeville,Somerset, and Harlan
I don't know much about any of the other regions in all the other classes, but the ones i do know about ill predict
in Class AA, ill take Western in whatever region they are in, in region 3 ill take Mercer, and in region 4 ill take Sheldon Clark
in Class AAA, ill take Lex. Catholic in region 3 and Rockcastle in region 4
in Class AAAA, ill take Trinity in region 2 and in region 3 ill take Male, did I get their regions right? please correct me if im wrong

I don't know too much about other Region's, but This is how I see it going from our east ky teams:
A- Somerset vs. Beechwood
AA- Middlesboro vs. Russell
AAA- Johnson Central vs. Lexington Catholic
A- Somerset vs. Beechwood

In AA it doesn't work that way. Western and Mercer will play in the same Regional as a result of the blind draw format adopted for this years playoffs.

Oh thanks for correcting me, well in that case ill take Mercer in that region over Western.

None of these teams are in the same region. They wouldn't meet until state semi-finals.

A-Bardstown vs. Frankfort , I think thats the way it will happen in that region.
AA-Mercer/Western and Russell/Belfry.

Sheldon Clark will take the championship in their region. Mercer has their's. Russel for theirs. Not great with regions.

Disclaimer: I am a fan and am allowed to overlook Prestonsburg!
Belfry has had Middlesboro's number the last 3 years, but this year Middlesboro has been impressive.
My heart tells me Belfry comes out of Region 4
Russell of course moves on from Region 3

Somerset has to beat Harlan before they worry about Pikeville, and if they do beat Haraln, they won't win the region unless Hazard beats Pikeville....and even then, if Hazard did beat Pikeville, Hazard would kill Somerset because to knock off Pikeville at home during playoffs means your pretty damn good.

Merger wins state Championship by 10 points
then goes to play in the 5A system next year where they should be playing now.....
Whoever gets to play Merger has an unfair, altered outcome with them this year.
Merger wins by default,, This sounds like boxing,, jumping weight classes or loosing weight to make a division... What ever you say about it, or how you look at it.. it is unfair whoever has to play them....

Well I wouldn't go as far as to say it's "unfair" for other teams to have to play them... Mercer hasn't really played a great team yet, but they will from Region on to State im sure. Other teams that have mergerd to create a new school usually don't have a good record at all the first few years, but of course Mercer is an exception. I think Mercer will make it to state, but if they don't I won't be suprised

Mercer won't make it to the championship... The west always has the team to beat, and they always get upset.. no reason why this year is any differente
