They have got as good a chance as anyone else from the eastern part of the state to make it.

Apparently INEZ highschool,,,,, oh wait do they have a school??? He must be a bulldog..........We get them next year in the regular season, so we can see what will happen...........

That would be Sheldon Clark high school in Inez. I think they get put out by Belfry in round 2. Tough to beat a good Belfry team twice in one season.

Yeah buddy. That sure was a killer schedule Sheldon Clark played.

Lets compare.
Common Opponents: Boyd Co
Russell 35 Boyd Co 0
Sheldon Clark 35 Boyd Co 14

The rest of Sheldon Clarks non-district schedule was Lawrence Co (2-8), Knott Co Central (3-7) and a weak Fairland Ohio.

Russell's non-district opponents besides Boyd Co were Asland (8-2) and Greenup Co (3-7)

Both teams districts are pretty weak. Besides Belfry noone in R4D8 is very good. Prestonsburg may be comparable to Fleming Co out of R3D6 but I give the edge to Fleming.

Shelby Valley, Pike Co Central, East Ridge, and Magoffin Co are no better than East Carter, West Carter, Morgan Co Estill Co and Powell Co.

So who really played the weaker schedule? Confused

Russell gets a below average team just like they have all year besides Ashland.

Actually we have more players back this week than when we played East last time and most who were slightly injured are better. Just spoke with Nick an hour or so ago and he was cleared to play! All Devils will be out in full force!:devilflam

I think it is hilarious how SC gets one good win over Belfry .. first win against the Pirates in like 8 years, and it was an overtime win at that, and all of a sudden they get full of themselves and think thier going to win the state title.. SC better take care of business one game at a time.. being big headed and full of yourselves will get you in trouble, act like you have been there before.. oh wait you haven't! So before you want to call out the big dogs of class AA then prove something in the playoffs, Granted you did beat Belfry, but how much would you like to bet that the Pirates won't lay down for you if we meet next week? Don't count your chickens before they hatch!!!
