If I recall correctly Mercer County and Harrodsburg merged this year to form the powerhouse Mercer Co Titans. As I was looking through the standings I noticed that Harrodsburg has a 3-7 record with a 3-2 district record. If they truly merged how could this be possible?
Class A, Semi 1, Region 2, District 4
(1)Frankfort 8-2 4-0
(2)Danville 9-1 3-1
Harrodsburg 3-7 3-2
(3)Trimble County 7-3 2-2
(4)Carroll County 3-6 1-3
Owen County 3-7 0-4

But didn't they merge. If so they should only be allowed to have one team.

They're not a team this season. Not sure who made the error, but you can tell from the standings that if that were true, they should be a playoff team, but they're not seeded. That 3-7 (3-2) record is from last year's regular season for Harrodsburg. You can see it here on the 2005 Kentucky scoreboard

I think what they are trying to say above ya there, is that the county closed Harrodsburg, but they opened Harrodsburg back up as a Independent school, but are letting Harrodsburg play on the same team still as Mercer?.. thats just what I took off by reading it.. maybe wrong tho

Harrodsburg is not open as an independent school. They were always as independent, but all their students are now Mercer Co. high school students. NOW, because there is not enough room for all the students to be housed in the old Mercer co. high school, and the new school won't be ready for another year, maybe a little more, they are using the old H'burg school to have SOME classes there, then bus them back over for other classes at Mercer. They are doing that for ALL Mercer students and former H'burg students. Classes like Art, and small classes like that.
