I think the list is a joke. I never put much faith into what cat pause says about the highschool teams. I think the teams look about right but the players nope. There is really to many good player in the 15th to pick a top ten.

i could c that dad35...but the season will project everything for all we know it could all go down hill for any of them but lets pray it doesnt b/c i wouldhate to see any of these girls go down to any type of injury...

i think east ridge will be ok this year as well. i wouldn't overlook them, they do have some good players still.

i dont see how you can place Belfry over Magoffin or Pike Central...Belfry has a new and young coach and they graduated some very good girls last year...they will not have the depth that they have had in years past IMO they are 3rd or fourth...they could b second but def not first...but hey not bashing you opinion at all :rockon:

I dont see how prestonsburg is 2 places higher than sheldon clark. SCHS beat them both times last year. Once was by 22 points. But the top 5 looks good to me. I see other teams this year though turning some heads and making their way towards the top. Its going to be a great year of girls basketball!

2.Pike County Central (SLONE,LOWE,H. RATLIFF,COLEMAN,HARRIS,K.Ratliff ,good depth
3. Belfry (good group of talent,will be small,but quick,shoot real well)
4 Johnson Central(very talented)
5.Does it matter the champion will be one of those four

i disagree with bridlegs cause the tournament is so much def. then regular season....you can never predict whats gonna happen...and i think P-burg has a really great shot with 4 of 5 starters back from last year....i really think that the winner will be an underdog....and to cards athlete p-burg did bet beat by them last year but in no way should that have ever happend...we jus dont handle bug girls to well seeing that we are a small team

i dont c p-burg beating either Goffin or PC unless one or the other have some type of injuries that are key considering last year P-Burg did not even come close to touching PC

Michaela Howard of Magoffin has had her 3rd knee surgery in the last 3 years word at school is she might not play this year hope i am wrong havent got to talk to her about it

Brittany Manns and Micheala Howard should both be in the top 5 IMO, and I am NOT a Magoffin County fan AT ALL.

Well that sucks for JC, I enjoyed watching her play, she was a hell of a ball player. But you gotta think, she plays volleyball and is very good at it and she also very good at softball. So maybe she just wants to concentrate on her two favorite sports that she wants to play in college, she could definately play both at Pikeville.

I must say that Magoffin has the best overall talent in the 15th---but not nececessarily the best individual player. Not the best coaching either

Ashley Jade Howard is the best player in the region, noone can argue that. When Haley Ratliff puts up QUADRUPLE DOUBLE's up against QUALITY teams like Belfry and Breathitt County (last year they were, don't know about now), then everyone up there can argue. Haley Ratliff is definately the #2 player in the region without a doubt. Magoffin County has one of the best coaches in the region, "Pup" Miller at #2 behind the best, Phillip Wireman.

Won't argue with you about Wireman being best coach in 15th--proven it a lot. Pup though? Get real!!!! Ashley H. is a GOOD high school player, but don't see her at D-1 level though. Magoffin has best overall talent (highest numbers of quality players). What if Wireman was their coach?
