Who are the players that will impact your team this season?

Powell Counties Kendra McFarland and Savannah Tharpe. Both post player and will have a major impact when it comes to scoring. They also have the defence to go along with it.

Dont forget their point guard Courtney Jones. She knows what she is doing when she gets it. She also plays very smart.

What some people dont realize is that key players are expected to even come form the bench. The younger players are known to do the little things right. These include Ashley Lacy, Shleby Barnett and Stevie Rogers.

Kendra Combs, Jessica Murrell, Mika Turner should be key players for the Owsley Co. team this year. I expect them to own the 56th.

As most know Megan Mosley will be the head of the offense at KCC. KCC has Lindsay Gibson coming back and a couple of sophmores that will make an impact. I know there are a bunch of people out there that will disagree with me when I say this but KCC has more that Megan.

I agree baller25. Knott beat Letcher Central and Hazard this last summer along with other teams. The Gibson girl looked good. Thomas and Terry showed some promise. Who was the big girl in the middle, I've never seen her before. Knott's grade schools look good this year. Looks like Hindman has a girl that is about 6 foot tall or taller. Emmalena looks to be loaded. Two girls over 6 feet tall and a quick guard. Do any of these girls play high school ball. I think it was Emmalena that came over here to South Floyd Tour. and kicked butt.

The real big girl in the middle was Megan Moore. She is no longer with Knott Central. Terry is capable of being a key player if she would give it all she had. There are times she acts like she is afraid. Lindsay Gibson can shoot against any one. If I am not mistakeing Thomas played every position there is to be played over the summer and that is alot to ask for someone her size. I know for a fact for 2 or 3 games she played point guard while Mosley ran the 2 guard. They beat two very good teams in Letcher and Hazard. They will make some noise and alot of it as well. To be completely honest Knott has a stand out player in Mosley but the entire team imo will contribute a whole lot this year.
As for the gradeschools. Hindman has two girls playing in Keisha Perkins who plays point guard and Shandra Thomas who is the other girl that is a little over 6 feet. Both of these girls are in 8th grade. And for Emmalena they are loaded this year. Sasha Pike is a very hard noised player but gets carried away sometimes. She is playing for the high school as well. They also have Keisha Slone who is just a little under 6 feet tall. She can be very good and if she would hit the weights hard she would be a very talented player. She is playing for KCC as well. The little guard I think you are talking about is Paige Slone. She is only in 6th grade. But a heck of player for her age.

I agree that Megan Mosley will be a very big factor in KCC's offense
