If it works don't mess with it!!!

I think that we will be a versatile team more so than we was in the past. All teams know we have an air campaign if we choose to go there!!! We are gonna rush a huge amount "BUT" we have another option IMO!!!
#7
1 thing though,we have to have a QB/ receiver relationship for certain!!! But we will see!!
#8
Just not seein it...
pass/td ratio might be good from running the ball so much and everyone once in awhile using play action, but i just dont see any Belfry team for the next few years passing 10+ times a game
#9
While Haywood is there Belfry will never have a legitimate passing game. It's just not his style.
#10
Funny that this came up..... Russell opened up this past Friday night with the same thing.............. Are you guys copying us or getting ready for us?????? Heres the funny thing, Russell vs Belfry. 800 yards passing in the game from both teams and 37 yards rushing, COMBINED....... NAH I am just having a bad dream !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think they will go away from what they do best. they will throw the ball less than 7-8 times against pikeville

Haywood had a very legitimate passing game when Jonathon Wright was the QB.
I believe you will see Belfry use a more balanced attack THIS season, maybe Friday night.
An Air Attack, No...but they will throw more than you think.
#15
dont forget about casey lequire leading the passing attack for belfry the year after john wright left.

You're right...I had forgotten.
Coach Haywood is smart enough to know his personnel and that he must have a little balance.
#17
using one to set up the other is what the game is about. no matter how often you do it it still works.
#18
Too late to change things now, they have done nothing but run the ball all season. Stick to what works.
#19
Naw dont think so
#20
Maybe, But the possible change up- Is there !!! And Belfry can Strike @ any time with An Air assault!!!
#21
i was going to mention john wright but someone beat me to it
#22
Funny thing is Wright and Lequire are both assisting up there so what does that tell ya

Also, I think everyone is going to be surprised what this Elkins kid is going to do in the future. Haywood has a lot of confidence and knows what to push and not to push in this young quarterback but Elkins is so level headed and calm in the backfield he looks like he's being doing it for 2 years. I look for Belfry to make some big passes in this game.
