There is a big difference in a “dime” deal and a “done” deal!   Lol.  Just kidding.  I knew what you meant.

This is the worst kept secret in the region. Honeycutt to Knott is just a formality

Honeycutt will do a great job at his home school. He had the job once before and after a short stint some of the more impatient fans and administrators decided to force him out and move him to Cordia, which is also in the Knott system. Well, low and behold the next season in the first game of the 53rd district Honeycutt’s Cordia team knocked Knott out of the district and regional tournaments. I told him later that was karma if I ever saw it in my life.
So it’s good to see him back for round 2. He’s a genuine good guy and also a good coach.

Think he beat Knott in 04 and 05 bit not sure. Full circle. Good for him.
