Not exactly sarcasm. I just posted what was said on other threads about him. From what was said in them is there really alot to be expected. I just think that myself and a few others that have watched him over the summer think he will surprise quite a few people this season. He will be ok when it counts, as will the whole Pikeville team.

Pikeville has a whole squad of players. They will be like they was last year in a lot of ways. They will be a different team come Feb. and March than they will in Nov. and Dec. It takes them a little time to get the football out of most of the team. From what I see, Pikeville will be set in every position next season.

i think pikeville will have a great season...Matt Clevenger has his freshman year behind him so i expect him to be a great player for this region...Tim Honaker is a great leader and a great defensive player who plays bigger than he is...Devan Adams should see more minutes this year being the biggest player in the region...Daniel Harmon played great last year coming off the bench as a freshman so should have a lot more confidence this season...Jacob Sword is their senior leader who is a great shooter and plays with a lot of heart in the #10 Pikeville jersey..good luck panthers

Did you look at what everyone has the 15th ranked at for next year? One person had Pikeville ranked number 4 in the region. All the others have them between number 6 and number 8 in the region next year. I think they can live up to those expectations...

After looking at what games are scheduled in the 59th district that is posted on the scoreboard site. The other 59th district teams better have a totally loaded schedule that they havnt listed on there yet to even come close to Pikevilles schedule. Does anyone know when Valley and East Ridge will have their full schedule listed?
I am interested, what are the easy games on Pikevilles schedule? The only game I see that would be considered easy that they dont have to play would be only one game. So, how is it such a weak schedule?

I just found out tonight that Pikeville only has 3 players that are NOT playing football or another fall sport. That is amazing, they will never be able to overcome that. It looks like it could be a long winter for the Panthers!

Maybe that is why Pikeville has such a weak schedule then. Have you had a chance to look at Valley and East Ridge schedule on scoreboard? I hope they are saving the easy games to be posted on a later date. Their schedules look really hard to me, well, what they got posted of it that is.

Work at it and they will be ready come playoff time!

Im not promising a final four appearance or anything but i think pikeville will do okay this year. Bart williams did very good with the group of boys he had last year and i think they will only get better.

Bart is a good coach and I know he advertised all over the state to try and get any team to play in the PIT. I don't think many coaches would shy away from playing quality teams and especially Bart Williams.

This year there are just 4 teams in the PIT again. Next year, Coach Williams is going to step it up to 8 so each team will get 3 games. He said something about it only counting as 1 game in the KHSAA compaired to two the way it is now. This year, it is Pikeville, Belfry, Wolfe County, and Jenkins.

The PIT has dropped to an embarassing low level... Attendance for the past few PITs has been extremely poor...

I think once it goes back to where teams can get 3 or 4 games in and only count it as 1, it will pick back up and be a good one for other teams to enter again.

Better hope they don't play JBS this year..REMEMBER LAST YEAR???? WELL GUESS WHAT..EVERYONE IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!!
11-11-2006, 10:05 PM
They might get to play JBS this year. If they do it will be in the WYMT tourney. Yes, I am sure they remember last year. One big difference in last years Pikeville team and this years Pikeville team. This year, they have more confidence than they did when they played JBS last season. Also, if they play this year, it wont be at JBS. Even though it really wont be on a neutral court according to some people, I bet it will be a different game than last season.

Sorry to inform you Playboy, but it was a 40 point game, not a 56. Just remember what you said. Same JBS players as last year, but it isnt the same Pikeville.
