Kenny was a homerun hire. LadyKats will have national relevance for the foreseeable future. Coaches do matter. Right, Granny?

Well not everyone will agree with me, but I think coaches matter a great deal!!!
I don't know a lot about Brooks' history, but I have watched him coach a few games. His demeaner and poise camouflage an intense passion for the game and his players. I really love his coaching style, and hope he gets more attention and accolades in the future.

Brooks was a big time get for our women's program.
Well-deserved for coach Brooks, kind of like Pope, the cupboard was bare for the women's program coming in, and he done great in the portal/recruiting. A great hire and the future is definitely bright for them. Congrats on COTY and best of luck in the tournament!

Be interesting to see how these teams shape up for the future from here on out. Both have done pretty darn good their first year. High expectations from here on out.

I love Brooks, love his low-key demeanor and the fact that’s he obviously a hell of a coach. Didn’t hurt either that Georgia Amoore decided to tag along with him from Virginia Tech, she is a great player and super fun to watch. Would love to see UK get these two wins at Memorial, a Sweet 16 berth would be a tremendous accomplishment in his first year.
