Ryder Akins was out due to a hand injury. The freshman averages 18 points and 7 rebs. Still they should’ve handled whitley. They blew them out at whitley 2 weeks ago.

In Pain , Call Shane....   Not even Shane could help with my pain.   Both the Corbin Redhounds and the Kentucky Wildcats are in some serious funks. Yes, the Hounds were without their Diaper Dandy, Ryder Akins, but still should have blown out a not very good Whitley County team.  Evan Ellis should be activated for the North Laurel game on Thursday, With a healthy Akins and a fresh Ellis maybe Corbin can at least get by Barbourville and Middlesboro . Losing to Whitley County on your own floor two years in a row is embarrassing and unacceptable.

Do these kids have no heart, no pride?  Whitley County...  really?  In your home gym? Even without Akins, you still have to win that game by 15 or 20. To borrow from Rod Stewart, tonight's the night... that I'm embarrassed to be a Corbin Redhound... and for that matter, a Kentucky Wildcat. What a complete and utter mess those two teams are at this point!!!
