Didn't get to tune into this one but from what I see it was complete domination. How did pikeville play and how did BL play?

Pikeville looked solid on offense and defense 1-5, really clicking at the right time, Walters had a big game, they really didnt have a answer for him. Sykes had a good game aswell.

Well I wasn't under the goal with 2 sacks of money so technically you don't owe me anything Westy...Pikeville starting to look good and the region is wide open.

I think Pike is definitely trending at the right time. This is the first game they shared the ball well.

Walter’s was the difference maker.

Pente for BL didn’t have his normal game. Pikeville defense really did well.

It’s sure starting to click in the ville

Panthers with back2back good wins. Hopefully can carry this over into the region.

Pikeville coming together at the right time. In my eyes EB has been the X factor. Yeah Onkst is playing unbelievable but EB seems to have matured is really dominating the paint. I think the region tournament will be crazy this year.

EB for sure Cole Slone really becoming an excellent player too. Looks like the whole team is figuring it out.

This is definitely the right time you want your team to start playing well, Pikeville is sure doing that.

Watch out for them come tournament time.

Of the games I’ve watched, which is by no means all of them, in my opinion the key cog is the Sykes kid. Onkst is going to score. Walters is gonna find some easy buckets as well. Keene is also great in spurts. But when Sykes can get to the paint and either create a nice interior pass to Walters, or find a slashing Onkst, or kick it out to Keene or Slone for an open three, or even hit that little 10-12ft floater then Pikeville is a different team. The games I saw Pikeville play poorly he was non existent. The games I’ve seen Pikeville play great, he was the engine helping all the stars shine brighter. Just my opinion. But you still have to have the scoring from your dudes, but everything seems to flow better offensively when he’s creating.

Without a doubt Sykes is finally finding his role on this team is to be the true point guard and be a shot creator for everyone else. Which took him I while since last season when he was at Shelby valley he had nobody else that could score the ball other than Phillips. He’s finally adjusted and figured out when he creates for everyone else Pikeville is a hard team to beat.
