Philadelphia vs. Washington NFC Championship 1/25
#1
Commanders vs. Eagles, kickoff set for 3:00 Sunday on Fox.

Washington just playing w/ house money at this point, nothing to lose at all. Led by a rookie QB who plays like he has been in the league for a decade now, a bevy of playmakers around him, and it seems like it's been someone different stepping up for them every time. A stingy defense led by Bobby Wagner that shut down the best offense last round in Detroit. This is their first NFC Championship game since 1991, which was also the last time they won the Super Bowl, can they keep the magic alive?

As for Philly, this is very familiar territory for them, as this will be the 6th time since 2000 that they have HOSTED the NFC Championship game. Difference maker for this team has obviously been the addition of Saquon Barkley, putting up over 200 rushing yards against a very good Rams defense last week, sure helps having the best offensive line in the league. Passing game will be another key topic, especially since Hurts isn't 100%. Philly defense has been one of, if not the best in the league as well, be interesting to see how they can try to get pressure on Daniels, who never seems to get rattled in the big moments.

NFC Rivals split the regular season meetings by a combined 11 points. Who's it gonna be?

I figured Philly would be in the NFC title game,  just vs Detroit.  Philly does have the experience of being there more recently.  They'll be tough to beat.  I'd like to see Washington pull the upset.  They've been on fire here of late.  Who at the start of the year would've imagined Washington being one of the two teams left in the NFC right now? Plus I like to pull for underdogs a lot.  As long as they're not playing one of my teams.  Makes it hard for me to have success in a NCAA tournament bracket challenge.  I pick way to many upsets lol

Dont really care who wins this one, I think Philly is the better team.

Philly covers.

Still standing by my statement about how unprecedented it would be for a team to have such a drastic turnaround. Would be interested to know when the last time a team whose record landed them a top 3 to 5 pick was able to reach the Super Bowl the following year.

I’d like to see Washington pull it off, but I think Philly’s great defense will hold up, and Saquon will have 150+ rushing yards and a couple of td’s. Philly 23-13.

Sure looks like it will be Philly.

Defense wins championships. Washington must have gotten a pep talk from Sec Heggie Boy. NO DEFENSE !!!

I'm going to have to block OSH so I can read sports threads without the political idiocy. Not a Philly fan but like Hurts and Love Saquon so I will definitely root for the Eagles over Chiefs. Eagles/Bills I'll probably be neutral but may end up leaning AFC.

No one, and I mean no one on here, interjects that subject in random threads than Jetpilot.  In fact, no one other than you and the weird one  even knows who Heggie boy is.  lol
