it cant be fixed over night...... they have 6 players who get playing time and the 6th probably should nt and i dont think he has played basketball in high school
of those 6 only two were on the roster last year.....

the damage done to the program over the last 10 years is bad but the failed hagy experiment set it back ten years of its own....

perry has a lot of work to do and i would not blame him if he was not up to it

Estridge and Diles are seniors and unless Belfry gets some of the football players out who used to play basketball but no longer do Perry is going to have to use his basketball connections to get some kids in to play for next year. They have some talent but not enough. Little, Jude, and Hagy are the only ones who are underclassman who are even remotely close to being able to play a competitive high school basketball game. Phelps has gotten kids from Canada to come in and play and that's really helped them. Martin County brought in the best player in the region that's made them a heavy region favorite and a team that can win a game at state. Perry is going to have to go out and bring some more talent in if he's going to build it.

Lord help belfry if he Perry leaves, he’s actually trying to bring it back there. Brett rash may try to get that job. I don’t think he will leave this soon. He’d be a nice one to have over at johnson central or Pikeville though either assistant or head eventually.
