First off we want to thank everyone for the continued prayers for Coach Haywood and his family. Coach is at UK and receiving great care, he is stable and responsive. Coach is a very private and humble man however, due to the healing process please have respect for Coach and his family. We know many will want to come and see him but at this time he just needs your prayers. Thanks to everyone who has reached out and prayed., and are continuing to pray. Enjoyed talking to him on occasion when we scrimmage Belfry the past few years, & he is just everything right about high school football & sports itself. They don't make them like him anymore. As of yesterday Coach Haywood is off the ventilator and is talking some and more alert. The Belfry community appreciates the thoughts and prayers of all of you. Coach has a long recovery ahead, but he is a very tough man.
