It will be Elliott’s region to loose IMO after this season.  They possibly could win a game at morehead this year depending on draw.  Looks like the Lions are back!!

KY JELLY doesn't understand how anyone could like someone or something outside of Ashland. Just look over him due to his obvious condition! Bless its heart!

May i ask what has your attention with them, coaching?

They play fundamental basketball. Movement off ball, hustle, solid defense. The motion offense, pass, cut, screen is a sign of good coaching. Nothing fancy just good old fashion ball. Elliot’s coach is coaching for who he has and to build on. They are young only 1 senior and 1-2 juniors. They are almost all freshman and sophomores. So they are going to make mistakes based on youth. But they play hard even after making mistakes. If they continue to stay together this team could compete for region in a couple years. Looking at most rosters once the 2026 graduate the region is going to take a hit. Elliot will be one of the most heavy 2027/2028 groups with years of playing together.

Always great to see Elliott in the mix and having success. Had some great teams back in the day 15-20 years ago, by the looks of it on here they're a young group with a lot of potential the next few years, maybe shake things up in the 16th and see someone other than Blazer be the favorite.

Elliott has 2 stints of 3-year reigns.  1st 2007, 2008, & 2009 and the 2nd was 2015, 2016, & 2017.  

2018 was won by a Boyd County team that's star player was from Ohio.  (Don't say that out loud HOOPFAN thinks A-Town is the only school winning with out of area players) 
2019 Ellott was the best team in the region, and it wasn't close & that the only blemish was to A-Town in reginal tourney.
2020 A-Town ever since.
