Transfer Rumors 2025
#61
Not that this deserves a response but those two seasons aren’t comparable despite Pikeville falling way short of expectations. Valley isn’t beating Raceland, GRC, or Hazard and they wouldn’t dare to even play Ironton. They will however get a taste of Belfry next year. That’ll be fun. Pikeville did whatever they wanted against Martin Co preseason and I think Valley started basketball season after playing Martin Co in playoffs. I wish Valley would play Pikeville.

This is a ridiculous take. Why would brown transfer after getting some good minutes on a competing pikeville team just to go to a valley team that is going to continue to struggle?
Was Pikevilles season much stronger than Valleys this year?
There simply isn’t any comparison between the two.  Pikeville and SV are on different planets when it comes to football.

Im hearing parents might be pulling their kids from St. X with everything that has gone on. That could have some impact in Louisville if that is the case.

Since SV has been in existence, the two teams have scheduled sporadically through the years with Pikeville, almost sure, coming out on top every game.

Historically sure. I agree. However, as far as how THIS season went. Not a lot of difference between the two.

Kentucky Country Day and even heading on down 64 to Sayre is what I’ve heard. Especially some of the younger kids who don’t want to wait their turn and wanna play right away. Sayre loses the house at the skill positions and KCD loses a lot as well. I look for bo to of them to find some gems with the goings on at St X

I heard they are going to the new school called Raceland St X and I forgot the Worthington part now there you go RAM DAD

What????    You do realize who Pikeville lost too…..correct?  You saw their schedule….right??    To even mention the two in the same sentence, paragraph or short story is completely laughable.   And not trying to disrespect Valley…..it’s just the plain truth.   That game would have been a bloodbath…..its just that simple.

Shelby Valley gets Belfry next year. If they play within 3 scores of Belfry I’ll admit they can play with Pikeville. Pikeville and Belfry would have run the clock on any team in Pike County.

Valley will not play within 3 scores of Belfry next year and wouldn’t have played within a running clock of either team this year. Just someone trying to stir the pot.

Definitely either male or trinity. I have a friend who’s boy goes to male and he said that they are getting around ten transfers from st. X

Heard #8 from pikeville is transferring back to Shelby Valley. Got insight from one of my boys from pikeville

Can we make trades ?? On behalf of Raceland we would like to trade two disgruntled Dad’s, one Get’em mom and one belligerent aunt who thinks her nephew should get the ball even when he’s on the sidelines to Pikeville for Pat! I think this is a fair trade

Raceland getting P1 will never happen!!! That's like trading 5 of our championship trophies for 2 Raceland runner-up trophies SMH.

Smile Oh yeah don’t have to now. I would think maybe he just knows if you can’t beat um join um. Why would any kid in Lexington that has talent not want to play at Douglass. I guess he could stay and lose two more times in his next two years. I guess if a kid shows up and wants to play they should just no sorry we don’t want other schools to get upset and complain. It amazes me how Frederick Douglass is the only school I guess that has kids enroll there.  Wink

Scott county gets back class of 27 D1 recruit JuJu Harmon from western hills.

This team had a worrying outlook in late November, but they have retained, and gained.

Scott county is quickly emerging as a top favorite to win 5A.
