Wonder what's up with all the drone activity being spotted along the North Eastern part of the US. Some drone activity has been reported near military bases and homes of elected officials. The unexplained sightings have been taking place for around a month.
Could another country be spying on us?
Is this a secret government operation, only a select few, know what the sole purpose of the drones are?
Could this be signs of life from another planet or galaxy? Could they have seen my meme about UK basketball, and just simply be trying to make their way to Rupp to watch the Cat's play?!! Likely not, they'd have better technology than that to not be spotted. Plus they'd likely move way faster!
Could this just be a group of regular citizens, playing a giant hoax?
What should the US, what should we do about this? Shoot them down maybe?
Have any of you seen any of these drones?
A month should be more than enough time to provide us with answers, at least we'd think.

Alejandro Mayorkas is the same crooked Democrat who has testified to Congress repeatedly and claimed that our southern border is secure. There is absolutely no reason to believe anything that he says about the drones.

Most likely the drones are searching for sources of radioactive material or something else that can be remotely detected at night. We will probably not know what they are looking for until after a terrorist attack.

One of the first things these drones made me think of, was the Chinese spy/weather balloons that was flying over the US last year.
These drones are supposed to be pretty large in size, some have reported. Can't imagine what the cost of these things must be. Might make it hard for most regular citizens owning something like that.
My son got a drone, several years back. Idk much about them. This one was smaller, couldn't do much. It was fun playing around with for a few minutes. Until we crashed it into a tree and it fell over the hill! We finally found it, with the wings or spinning thing on the top broken!
I've read, some of those drones, you need a license to operate, maybe even have them registered somewhere.

Mystery Drones Could Be Trying to Find 'Radioactive Material'—Aerospace CEO
The drones are almost certainly ours, the real question is what are they looking for?
Also, the simplest explanation of why so many drones are appearing near military bases is that is where they are based.

My entire family was vacationing for an extended weekend in a cabin in Gatlinburg last year. A couple of cabins away from us were several younger couples and they had a drone. They loved flying in by the cabins, especially at night. A couple of us asked for them to not fly it by our windows at night, because they would allow it to hover and the drone had a camera. Well those requests were ignored. Several of us were having coffee on the back deck a couple of nights later, and the drone flew up. It was a third story deck, so it was several feet in the air. It began to hover, and the folks with the controller was tickled to death with their maneuver. They were on their deck and watching. So, I took the drone out with a large rock.
I would do the same with any drone flying in my personal space. And if a rock didn't work, I'm a great shot with a 12 gauge.

I will probably add a drone to my collection of gadgets some day, but people who use them to invade other people's privacy deserve to get pelted with a rock.

I'm no Paul Harvey, so the "rest of the story" is pretty mundane. They saw the drone go down, but I'm not sure they knew exactly who threw it. I didn't care if they did see me; I certainly didn't hide!!!

I don't blame you, I'd been hurling rocks or something at one to, if in that situation. A 12 guage should definitely fix the problem. That's something I'd definitely consider too.

And camera's, many of the smaller drones even have camera's. A lot of youtubers use drone footage in their videos. That's the last thing I'd want, someone flying a drone around my personal space taking video or photos. I'm a big time prankster, even I wouldn't pull a stunt like that! Besides I'm terrible with technology, I'd just end up crashing the thing lol

My dang DJI drone I have for fun to fly had to be registered and has a GPS on it to tell me where no fly zones are. I guarantee they know whose drones these are flying around.

I use ours to film our rabbit hunts and to keep up with our dogs if they ever get too far away chasing a rabbit.

I was reading last night about getting a license and registration to operate one of those things. I might try to get one soon.
Did you have to take a test to get your drone registered?
