Thoughts please?

Did they ever name their new play caller?
#3
Fugate is still going to call plays.

Being in a district with Corbin and sister district with Boyle is not where you want to be. Will the kids who quit or didn't come out last season come back out this season? I think the answer to that question will be a good indicator of how the '25 season will go.

How is it that everyone always says “being in a district with Corbin” or “oh god, we’ve got to
play Boyle county.” That’s not the embarrassing part we all got to
witness this past season. The embarrassment was Perry was awful and had way to much talent to be that bad. Way too much going on internally. Kids playing out of position to satisfy other parents and grand parents because of how much money that they had. Coaches not doing their jobs and making any kind of adjustments. Hell Corbin and Boyle should be the least of everyone’s worries. Taking a beating from Williamsburg, losing to a bad Whitley team and getting absolutely embarrassed and ran off the field by letcher are things that stick out in my mind. Fix minor issues such as these before worrying about major ones that you referenced too. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them lose quite a few kids and who could honestly blame them for wanting to get away from that ticking time bomb?

Good points, but why would those kids be excited to play when they know they have little to no chance to win their district or region, even if they somehow fix all those little things? Hard to keep kids that aren't excited to ball. Especially with the 1A school on the other end of town on the rise again. Those kids are excited to ball. I’ve never seen kids quit the team in the middle of a game like they did at PC last year (can’t remember which game it was). How did the coach keep his job after that?

You’re obviously not up to speed on the Perry politics way. He will keep his job and coaching staff until he gets tired of it. That family is royalty there.

Ah, I understand. Very unfortunate for the kids.
