Why not post the name of who you heard? Its Bluegrass Rivals, not some secret CIA mission.

I think pikeville wins in overtime 74-70

Would love to travel to Pikeville to watch this one. Could be the 2 best teams in the region.Again, did anyone watch Perry County vs Martin County? Did that Cardinal offense scare people? The same Perry County who lost to Belfry the night before and Belfry just lost to Jenkins this week. I fully expect Martin to get it together but anyone who has watched them play so far can’t be impressed. They haven’t played well.

I look for a high scoring game between these two teams. It's hard to beat Pikeville at home, but I'll be surprised if either team wins convincingly.

Give me Pikeville. Onkst will have a night, and I look for Keene and Walters to aid him during the process.

I’d say whoever has the hot hand will win this one with little defense played. Be a good offense high scoring game both team can score very good. Can go either way in this one.

If Pikeville holds MC under 60 I’ll give you a 10$

You quoted me, so I’m duty bound to say “I told you so”. Martin Co played good defense, came out hot and outplayed Pikeville at Pikeville. Pikeville had no answer for Watts or the overall physicality of Martin Co.

Lot of ball knowers in this chat ?? there’s a reason you all are coaching from the stands and not on the floor. MC got it done in pikeville.

Indeed. I agree. We should definitely defer our opinions to the basketball wisdom of people who have not been impressed with the team that is now the front runner to win the 15th. Maybe if people around here knew basketball they’d be less impressed with the team currently in the drivers seat in their region?

Offensive juggernaut and no one in the region has a chance. If you were impressed by their play until today, I don’t have anything for you. Nobody said they weren’t good but they had not played well so far. They played a good game today. You said their offense would be too much to handle. Pikeville had 17 points a halftime. I’d say their defense got it done. I’d like to know the total rebounds and turnovers too but I already know Martin won both handily. But their offense!(12-14-2024, 10:37 PM)Belichick Wrote:(12-14-2024, 09:35 PM)Red and Black Wrote:Since you quoted me, it had nothing to do with their offense if you watched the game. I feel like Pikeville has a serious problem that nobody is talking about. Turnovers!! They had 19 in the LC game and had to have north of 20 yesterday. When you let an athletic team like martin county play the transition game it isnt gonna be pretty.
