What do you believe Trump should have done? Your description of what happened is wildly exaggerated. Only one person died during the protest and she was an unarmed Trump supporter who was murdered. Trump requested that the National Guard be deployed to provide security for the event but Nancy Pelosi turned down the request.

People who actually believe that Trump's unarmed supporters tried to overthrow the government are absolute idiots. Are you one of those idiots, or are you just a mindless troll who likes to draw attention to himself? Which is it?

Elon has promised to BIGLY fund well organized primaries against any Republican who gets in the way of Trump's agenda. Hope to see Murkowski and Collins replaced by real Republicans next cycle.

The best part is even if it's not Gaetz, it will be somebody else removing all the Dem deep state corruption from the DOJ. So we will still hear all the bubbles popping over OSH's head for AT LEAST 4 years. Make America Great Again!!!!

At least 4 and probably a term or two for JD Vance. What a great pick he was. I mean I know memories are short and all, but the last 4 years of misgovernance has finally left a nasty enough mark that voters couldn't forget.

First Trump should have told his people the TRUTH the election was not stolen he LOST BIGLY.
But instead like some child he couldn't except the fact he lost he kept telling his people it was stolen so he invites them to DC to stop the steal. He sat in the White House for over 3 hours while his people beat the cops up and did nothing to stop them. After he seen, his VP wasn't going to stop the count, he told his people to burn it down with a tweet. Now as of today there is no written record Trump gave anyone an offer for the national guard. Anything the president does they are a written record or order just because of what you said he offered Pelosi the guard.

"THE FACTS: Trump has repeatedly and falsely claimed that he offered National Guard troops to the Capitol and that his offer was rejected. He has previously said he signed an order for 20,000 troops to go to the Capitol.

While Trump was involved in discussions in the days prior to Jan. 6 about whether the National Guard would be called ahead of the joint session, he issued no such order or formal request before or during the rioting, and the guard’s arrival was delayed for hours as Pentagon officials deliberated over how to proceed.

In a 2022 interview with the Democratic-led House committee that investigated the attack, Christopher Miller, the acting Defense secretary at that time, confirmed that there was no order from the president."

This is no different than people saying they wished Trump would just shut up about the 2020 election being stolen and let it go…over and done with.  Regardless of how you feel after all the sham indictments and lawsuits against Trump good luck getting anyone to believe this even if it where true…America has spoken whether you or anyone else on this board likes it Trump is your president, I had to accept Biden being mine and didn’t care for it one bit either….

Welcome back, TRT. I agree, Vance was a great pick. That bodes well for the future. Like Trump, Vance understands that voters only vote for people who are not afraid to ask for their votes in their neighborhoods.

Republicans wrote off Hispanic and Black voters for decades but that has changed. Trump, Vance, Ramaswamy, Gabbard, Charley Kirk, and other Trump surrogates were fearless on the campaign trail. That may have been the biggest reason for Trump's bigly winning margin. Trump and his team earned votes while Kamala paid for softball interviews and celebrity endorsements. Courage won the election over cowardice and corruption.

I find your unhinged rants entertaining. If Kamala Harris was a man who traded sexual favors to launch her political career and then had to rely on a political coup to secure her nomination because her presidential campaign did not survive until the first primary, I would have an equally low opinion of her/him.

Like so many Washington Democrats, she deserves a stretch behind bars, but justice rarely reaches the oligarchs or their puppets. I look forward to watching the FEC's dance to keep Kamala out of jail.

You just keep making sexist statements the prove Old School right.  It's not surprising that you cannot see it either.

Do you honestly believe that McMahon is qualified?
Do you believe Pete Buttigieg, Sam Brinton, or Rachel Levine had the qualifications for the positions they were given?  Linda McMahon was the CEO of a multi billion dollar operation, I don’t think she’ll have a whole lot of trouble telling people what to do which is essentially what these picks are for….She is a lot more qualified than simply being chosen due to her sexual orientation or having a gender identity crisis….

Brinton is a nuclear engineer.  Levine is a MD.  Buttgieg is a Harvard grad, an Oxford grad and a Rhodes Scholar.  He was also an Intelligence Officer in the Navy and the Mayor of South Bend.  All 3 seem to be pretty qualified.

McMahon did claim to have an Education degree, only problem is that she was lying.
Brinton can’t keep his hands off other people’s property, Levine is responsible for butchering more children than an abortion clinic, and Buttigieg’s only redeeming qualification seems to being elected mayor of a small college party town in Indiana…Your trying to argue along partisan political lines and regurgitate CNN storylines….You openly admitted I was right about what got the Dems beat this election cycle but you also continue to double down on the same agendas….All that’s fine it’s absolutely your right to believe all this but it just lost your party the election bigly as Jet would say….

Pam Bondi is a real life American hero crime fighter. She is the worst possible Trump appointment if you are a member of the Biden crime family or one of Joe's minions.

She's definitely qualified.  She was considered in 2016, but Trump's advisors thought that she carried too much baggage to get confirmed and convinced him to move on.  My guess is that she won't have much of a problem getting confirmed this time, especially after the the threat of the thing most politicians fear most, not being able to get re-elected.
If your a lifelong member of the Republican Party why are you constantly regurgitating liberal / democrat talking points, for example if your a Republican do you not believe that people should have a photo ID to vote?  How else do you keep track of who’s legally voting without some type of identification?  You had me until you threw the Bush’s out there, I can’t promise, but I’d almost be willing to vote for Gore if I had it to do over….At least Gore admitted to being a democrat…..

There are millions of lifelong Republicans, Reagan Republicans, who find themselves distanced from the Party of Trump. Rape ,felonies, and Sedition are bridges too far for principled and ethical Republicans.
Trump has grown the base like no other. Added millions, not lost them.

He won bigly and people knowing there were no rapes, felonies or sedition was a big part of it.

Well, I'm aware of over 76 million people from both parties, who would disagree with you.
ABC must have lawyers watching The View live. They have started interrupting the show and making Sonny Hoston read legal statements from her teleprompter when she makes the kind of unsubstantiated allegations that OSH makes in nearly every post. I expect The View will be cancelled very soon. ABC had been an obedient propagandist for Democrats, but I doubt that they will risk their broadcast license under the new administration by continuing to subsidize the vile lies of the show.

Harris received the 3rd highest popular vote total of all time, with Biden's being the highest ant Trump 2024 the second highest.  I would guess that 15 million or more didn't necessarily vote for Harris, but against Trump.

Only a motion would vote to put a moron in the Whitehouse, so I believe that your 15 million number is way below the actual number of people who voted against Trump. However, far more people voted for Trump than for Harris.

I voted against Hillary and against Biden, but I voted for Trump in 2024. This is probably the first time that I did not feel like I was voting for the lesser of two evils since I voted for Ronald Reagan twice. Trump ran a great campaign and has surrounded himself with a very strong team. He learned from his mistakes, and made most Republicans, Democrats, and independents feel good about voting for him in this election.
Trump has appointed Kash Patel as the next FBI Director. Biden's blanket pardon of his crooked son, Hunter, should help get Trump's nominees confirmed.

If Senate Republicans are not convinced of the need to thoroughly purge the DoJ of corrupt bureaucrats now, then they never will be convinced.

That’s rich but unlike some posters I can use the google search bar…If the Republicans control the Senate then they have the majority, even if it comes down to using the nuclear option which it shouldn’t, there have only been 3 cabinet nominations rejected in the last 100 years…

Here I’ll dumb it down for you…
Let's try this again without a majority of the senators votes it's a NO GO it really doesn't matter if there's a vote or a withdraw it's basically the same end. Hope that wasn't to complicated.

As soon as Trump is sworn into office, Republicans will only need a 50-50 split to confirm Trump's appointments.

I don't believe that I was posting on here 4 years ago when Biden made his picks.   The only qualifications that some of these people have is their willingness to bow down to Trump when their allegiance should be to the people they are serving.  I realize that some of you don't understand or don't care about the difference, but some of these picks are even outrageous to much of the GOP.  I would hope that there are enough Senators with the courage to reject at least 2-3 of these picks, although they have been threatened by the Cult if they do.  Democracy does not work this way.

"I believe the president is entitled to have appointees who share his worldview, and he won the election, but what he's not entitled to have is appointees who don't have the character and the judgment to wield the responsibilities of the office to which they have been appointed," said Nunziata, executive director for the Society for the Rule of Law.

"This is the whole purpose of the Senate confirmation process. The founders set it up to make sure that a president cannot install unqualified loyalists into positions at his pleasure, cannot put the trust and faith of the American people and the powers of this government in the hands of people who cannot be counted on to wield that power responsibly, so that's the point of this whole process and the FBI review."

The FBI has been weaponized whether you want to admit it or not, Trump won he gets to select his cabinet and it’s not gonna be full of Democrats that’s the way it works and all this whining and pouting is just sour grapes on the Dems part they had their chance and dropped the ball…

Trump claims the FBI is weaponized against him and Biden claims it's weaponized against his son.  If they didn't break the law, they wouldn't have any problems with the FBI.  Now if Patel is in charge, then all bets are off because he has came out and admitted that he plans to weaponize it, and any of us could be in the crosshairs then.

This is exactly how democracy works. The winner appoints his team, with the advice and consent of the Senate. Trump has shown that he does not tolerate incompetence from his team, which has clearly not been the case with Joe Biden. Trump is assembling a much better team than he had in 2016, and he was a far more effective president in his first term than Biden has been in his only term.

Democrats have supported the most corrupt administration in history for the past 4 years. It is time to let the winning team take a shot.
