GC will dominate APB. Besides dealing with a 7ft kid national ranked. GC guards across the board are way better then guards at Ashland. APB has a roster of kids from across the region. Smith was 6/7 man at BC. Lalonde would be if he stayed at BC. Clark comes off the bench at BC if he stayed. Hoskins only starter who has varsity experience from Morgan as a starter. Neel ineligibility still a factor. I’m wondering how do you come to a ridiculous conclusion like you just made. Carter will be the only starter from last year if Jennings doesn’t play. Lalonde lost his spot to Adkins early in the season. Getting crushed tomorrow will have a lasting effect on the Hazard game that they will probably lose as well. Then play BC at BC. I see why Bonner had a closed scrimmage/practice and scheduled a weak scrimmage with Breathit Co. I’m sure it was in hopes to give these guys confidence before going into the season.

GC will win this game simply because they are better. Ashland will make some noise when the football players get healed up and get in basketball shape. That will take some time. If these two teams were to play a couple months from now I believe GC would still be the better team but Ashland would be close enough to get a win on a given day.

On a side note, I don't get to spend as much time on here as I would like but when I do get to view a topic or two one thing you can count on when viewing an Ashland basketball thread is the pseudo BC bench coach trolling everything concerning Ashland basketball. But...if you have to bring a kid's individual stats into your argument to try to score points you need to find another forum. Also, Lewis County is a fine program with some quality kids and will do well this year, no need try to score points at their cost. This fruitcake gets on everyone's nerves and spouts stupid stuff every time he opens his mouth. He is totally fixated on Ashland to the point of mental illness. That being said, if you have to go low by degrading kids and programs to score points in your argument you should just let it go.

Once Ashland gets all their roster intact they should handle the 16th fairly easily. To go on the road and play a team of Great Crossing caliber to an overtime loss (and it took a desperation shot in regulation at the horn to put it in OT) without a complete roster is speaking volumes about the Tomcats.
