Open Job: Pineville
#1
Coach Harris has stepped down after 3 years at the helm to accept a administrative position in the district. He had a record of 10-22 in his 3 seasons.

Nothing solid, just some local names people assume will apply

They just hired a very questionable assistant coach for basketball. He was in a lot of trouble at Middlesboro and they had to let him go. Hopefully they get someone with good character.

Jamie Roan would be a hire i could see them going for. He was an assistant coach on the staff last year and kids seem to enjoy playing for him. Bart Elam would probably leave corbin next year with his son being gone if the ship hasnt sailed. Also Eric Perry from Harlan city or Hunter Adams who's been middlesboro's OC for years now could also be a good hire. As a middlesboro guy i know hunter has to be getting the itch the be the main man somewhere and that aint possible while Coach French is still here.

Wonder if they would go with someone who is older and not overly energetic but loaded up to the gills on psychotropic medications? I think I'll apply. The Danville thing didn't work out well at all.

Hard job. Gotta work hard to not be poached by Bell and Middlesboro. Some tradition, but the last real winning was 30-plus years ago. Good luck to whoever gets the job. Southeast Kentucky football is better when the Mountain Lions are competitive.

There is no question that the community loves their teams and wants to see them compete, the question is; can they retain and draw county kids in?
