Brinton is a nuclear engineer.  Levine is a MD.  Buttgieg is a Harvard grad, an Oxford grad and a Rhodes Scholar.  He was also an Intelligence Officer in the Navy and the Mayor of South Bend.  All 3 seem to be pretty qualified.

You provided zero qualifications for Buttigieg. Nothing in his background qualified him to be Transportation Secretary. He got his appointment because he campaigned for Biden and checked one of the LGBTQ boxes.

Buttigieg should have been confirmed for the same reasons that Trump's nominees should be confirmed. They are educated and have management experience and they are the people that the winning candidate says that he needs on his team.

Most management skills translate well between the private sector and government agencies. Any CEO of a large corporation will have extensive management experience.
