Day 1 Trump actions you want to see
#1
I already started a thread about presidential pardons, but what actions would you like to see him take on his first day in office that have not already been mentioned.

One of the first things I want him to do is to resend the top secret security clearance for:

Joe Biden

Hunter Biden

James Biden

Every one of the 51 former intelligence officials who signed the letter claiming Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation.

Hillary Clinton

Huma Abedin

Kamala Harris

Everybody else who has no "need to know." And writing a book does not constitute a need to know.

When Trump leaves office, then he should also surrender his clearance. Way too many people retain security clearances after they leave office.

Economic issues were, reportedly, the most important thing for the voters. The DOW is already straight up since the election, but I want to see a more secure future for the economy. Also immigration was an important issue. I'm not sure how he should proceed here. I do believe there are folks who have immigrated that are in fear of their lives but I don't know how to filter the millions of people who have entered illegally. Maybe offer an opportunity to either be returned to their home countries, or initiate the process of legal immigration. The only thing I'm sure of is that it's a mess!!! Thanks to the open border policy, this entanglement is a nightmare.

I agree about the security clearances being surrendered.

End Ukraine Russia war.
Fire Christopher Wray.
Reduce nonviolent J 6ers' charges to misdemeanor trespassing and release for time served.
Pardon people in jail for praying outside of abortion clinics.

I don't want him to try to throw anyone in jail like they are trying to do to him.

Biden needs to release the J6 political prisoners ASAP. They should not spend another night in prison. Trump is in a very strong position to negotiate their quick release before he takes office.

Other than the Jan 6 political prisoners I want to see him do much of what Biden did his first day in office, sign Executive Orders dealing with immigration / border security, deregulation of oil / gas production, and stopping the free handouts to Ukraine.

Select high quality, loyal people to hold cabinet seats.
Close the Border
Expand our energy policy….once that occurs…that will have a multi-prong impact on inflation, wages, and the overall cost of goods and services. Quickest way for the average American to see more money in their accounts.
Eliminate taxes on tips and overtime. That was a big promise….need to fulfill it.
Need to renew all the tax mandates that are about to expire in 2025.

While I would love to see him do away with the IRS….and move us to a consumption tax….im not sure there would be enough support to get it done.

But the BiGGEST thing he needs to do is thank God for this opportunity. And don’t forget GOD in his decision making.

I want Trump to rescind all of the bad executive orders signed by Biden and replace the ones that Biden rescinded that Trump signed during his first term, but I want to see stacks of new bills signed into law to replace as many executive orders as possible. I don't want some future Democrat president to be able to impose bad policies as easily as Biden did.

I was surprised this was never brought up a lot, but they have been drilling, most of the initial Biden restrictions on drilling had be slowly removed.

The Biden administration increases the royalty rate for oil production on federal land from 12.5 percent to 16.67 percent. They also increased the minimum bond amount from $10,000 to $150,000.

I'm not familiar enough with how bonds are set to know whether increasing the minimum is significant or not, but that is a huge and unwarranted increase in the royalty rate.

Leasing and permitting are the other areas in which liberals determined to destroy industries utilize. It takes time for companies to lease, explore, drill, and place oil and gas wells into production. The full impact of the changes that Biden made have not been seen yet.

Trump will roll back many of the changes that Biden has made. Hopefully, the coal industry, or what's left of it, will also get some much needed relief.

My friend , Jetpilot,  is being deceptive with you good folks again. And he knows it. No one has been put in jail for praying outside of an abortion clinic. They HAVE been arrested, and rightly so. for blockading abortion clinics.

Please do your own diligence and research it for yourself. Jetpilot is counting on you not to do your due diligence.  Neither Paulette Harlow, nor anyone else was jailed for praying. And you people are surely smart enough to know that.

Paulette Harlow is not in jail for praying outside an abortion clinic, but rather for her role in the 2020 blockade of the Washington Surgi-Clinic:
  • What happened:
In August 2023, Harlow was convicted of federal civil rights offenses for her role in the blockade of the Washington Surgi-Clinic in October 2020. She was sentenced to 24 months in prison for her role in the blockade, which involved the use of force and physical obstruction.

  • Why is this important to note?:
Social media users have falsely claimed that Harlow was sentenced to prison for praying outside the clinic.

Oh look, the guy who humiliated himself by being duped by every far-left hack, huckster and hoax out there this election cycle is preaching to us about due diligence. You can't make this sh!t up.

OSH I realize you love you some abortion anytime, anywhere, for any or no reason. I didn't mention Paulette Harlow you did. But she will be pardoned as well and anyone with a shred of decency in their being will be very happy about it.

If I was sick i might say I was warming up to the idea of liberals aborting their babies, all the way up to 4th grade if that makes them feel better.

But I'm not sick.

Ronald Reagan I believe famously said "I've been noticing that all the people for abortion have already been born."
Abortion is the biggest stain the world has ever known IMO.

So people can violently protest Israel, burn the American flag, all the while desecrating National monuments and that’s ok…..A 75 year old woman in poor health with no criminal record blocks a door to an abortion clinic and she has to go to jail, come on Old School you have more common sense than that and a bigger heart, that woman doesn’t deserve to be in jail and you know it…

I disagree. OSH supported every unconstitutional effort Democrats used to impeach and prosecute Trump for bogus crimes. He supports the prosecution and jailing of those who disagree with him. People like him are the reason a majority of Americans finally used their votes to perform an intervention.

Well I’m just gonna say I’m shocked, after Old School was so worried about the large population of homeless people here in Corbin and the high rent people are having to pay, I expected that he would be upset that an old woman with medical issues was in jail for a nonviolent crime…

According to the evidence, on October 22, 2020, Handy – along with her co-conspirators Jonathan Darnel, John Hinshaw, William Goodman, Jean Marshall, Joan Bell, Herb Geraghty, Heather Idoni, and Paula Harlow, among others – forcefully entered the clinic and set about blockading two clinic doors using their bodies, furniture, chains, and ropes. Once the blockade was established, they live-streamed their activities. The evidence also showed that the defendants violated the FACE Act by using a physical obstruction to injure, intimidate and interfere with the clinic’s employees and a patient, because they were providing or obtaining reproductive health services.

I simply posted that Ms Harlow and others were convicted and sent to jail for engaging in a federal conspiracy and violating the FACE Act,  NOT FOR PRAYING, as my friend, Jet, tried to mislead.  If they had just showed up outside the clinic and prayed , no one would have gone to the pokey. You do the crime, you should do the time. Ms Harlow and others should have rethought their plans on that day and stayed home and crocheted or done crossword puzzles.

There's your answer TDHounds. OSH has neither sense nor a heart. He is consumed by hate. The good thing is he is always wrong. Harlow will be out of jail very soon. She was peacefully trying to save the life of a child. The abortionist and all who share his views will have a reckoning and we all know it will end very badly for them, for all eternity.

No one has proved that there will be a day of reckoning. NO ONE. That's a fairy tale, as Dr. Sagan pointed out.

As far as the Mango Mussolini on Day 1. I would like for his first official act on Day 1 to be an official public apology to E. Jean Carroll for raping her. I would also like for him to take all the money he has grifted from his cult members, some of them right here on BGR, and use that money to pay the many millions of dollars in compensation to Ms Carroll (who a court of law found Trump civilly liable for raping) and all the other women he has sexually violated. He is a sexual predator and should start making amends on Day 1. We are still a nation of laws(at least for a few more months) whether you all like it, or not.

As Michael Steele and Rick Wilson pointed out after the election, 70 million people felt that electing a black woman president was just a bridge too far, yet they overlook the vile actions of a wannabe autocrat who rapes women and incited a violent insurrection of the Capitol. Right on, fellas!!!

Kamala Harris is a fake black woman. Black men and women know a real black woman when they see one and plagiarist Kamala Harris used photos of black people in her book and labeled then as her ancestors.

Trump wisely did not use Kamala's bogus ethnic claims or her plagiarism as issues in the campaign because she was so weak as a candidate without making such bizarre sounding claims. Joe Biden is the only other politician who I know of who plagiarized another person's autobiography in a desperate effort to win an election, but Harris took the hoax to the next level.

Kamala Harris ran for the U,S, Senate as an American with an Indian heritage because that is what she is. She needed a more popular ethnicity, so she decided to identify as a black woman presidential candidate and hoped that nobody would notice the switch. Trump noticed. Candace Owens noticed and so did many black voters.

The Democrats ran a fraud against Trump and it failed bigly.

Kamala Harris had plenty of experience sending first time nonviolent offenders to jail. She was the candidate best matched to the wrapped ideology of voters like OSH.

The fact that Kamala won over 200 electoral votes shows that Republicans and conscientious Democrats have much work remaining to restore American government at all levels to the moral high ground.

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were stations on this country that cannot be cleaned quickly. Trump Day 1 will be a good pre-rinse.

Most of the people charged with a crime for their criminal behavior on Jan 6th got what they deserved an should have gone to jail.  For the most part, there was s nothing political about their convictions.  It's absurd to suggest otherwise and would set a horrible example if they are pardoned.  Would you feel the same way if the Dems storm the Capitol this Jan?

Tell RFK Jr that he was just kidding about his having a place in the Trump Administration. Kennedy's voters could have been the difference in the election, but the man has some crazy ideas and hopefully Trump realizes this.

Most of the people jailed were guilty of nothing more than simple trespass. They walked through open doors to protest inside of a federal building.

Where is your outage at all of the looters and those who attacked federal buildings in protests supported and actively encouraged by Kamala Harris? I don't recall your demands for justice on behalf of the victims of those riots.

It absolutely was a factor. Would she have won if she was a white man with the same politics? Maybe, but America is not ready for a black woman. Hell, some Baptist churches (SBC, for one) is not even in favor of having women in positions of leadership in the church(i.e., pastors). If they don't want a woman pastor they sure as hell don't want a woman president. No matter how much those on the right want to deny it, sexism still exists, misogyny still exists, racism and bigotry is still a huge thing. All of those things cost her A LOT of votes that a white man wouldn't have lost.  Read some books about Trump. Hear it from people who have been in his inner circle for four decades. He has preyed on women his entire adult life.  A court of law determined he raped EJC. All of America heard how he joked about grabbing women by the p####.  It's not a question whether or not he's a predator. He certainly is. But half of America couldn't care less about the molestation of women by the crazed orange man they idolize--- a man, by the way, who absolutely despises the very people who love him. From sources close to Trump he makes fun of those who support him with their cult-like enthusiasm.

As far as the nutty abortion woman , she committed a federal crime. And those kind of crimes come with sentencing guidelines. I hate that her obsession with abortion ruined what should have been the golden years of her life but she did it to herself. She was in violation of the FACE Act and that comes with prison time. She should have stayed at home and not engaged in a federal conspiracy.  I have a heart for people who need help(like the homeless, the hungry, the elderly, and animals). I have helped a lot of people and animals.  If you are going to be a political activist, it's best not to commit federal crimes in making your point, like Ms Harlow did.  I'll bet she's engaged in her last blockade. Lesson learned, hopefully.
#30
There is considerable skepticism that Kamala Harris is a black woman. As I predicted, Donald Trump received votes from more minority men than any Republican candidate has in decades. Racism and misogyny was a non-factor in Trump's election. You don't get to substitute your opinions for facts. Trump's election was the result of failed liberal propaganda.

The horse you are riding is dead.
