Boyle holds and takes over at midfield with just under 3 to go.

Douglass is forced to punt from the endzone after an intentional grounding. Boyle takes over with 2:55 to play.

I think Boyle is running out the clock. Good 3 TD win.

Boyle County has not lost a game in 2 years but that comes to an end Friday night. FD is a much more talented team then BC. 28-7 FD Wins. Watch and see!!!I watched but I didn't see.

I guess all those “transfer portal” kids aren’t paying off at the farm. Great win BC.

I would like to hear what some guys think about Boyle County’s talent compared to FD after this one?

Frederick Douglass has more overall talent but Boyle had the best 2 players on the field with Brown and Quisenberry.

The Frederick Douglass staff couldn’t coach their way out of a brown paper bag.

Yea. FD may have more prospects, but the quality at the top 7 doesn’t justify your position. Boyle is better. Boyle coaches are better.
Also you would be hard pressed to not put the feltner Kid in that 7-8 players.

The Feltner kid is a very good high school football player and to me is right there with Brock Driver as the glue to our defense. Offers for the next level mean nothing about high school performance. If you have the body colleges will take you and try to make you a player they can use.
I'll take a hard nose kid that gives 100% every play each week to help his team over a D1 prospect that only plays for themself and not team ball.

WRONG!!!
Admittedly, strong statement but go back and look at their schedules since McPeek took over against teams that have had equal or more talent than FD where coaching can make a difference. They are well below .500 in those matchups.

As I get what you are saying, the thing about Mcpeek also is when he took over, he also had to move from Class 5A to Class 6A and play against some of the best 4A teams that has ever. So FD losing to some of those teams, I have to say, they played down to the wire to most teams even in a loss that could have went either way. Also, if FD was in Class 5A, you could say that FD might be playing for 3 years in a row, 5A State Championships. Big step up from 5A to 6A. Like trying to run with the flu. I have to give Mcpeek his credit. He has raised the level of play at FD to me and playing the best teams available. He isn't shying away from scheduling the best teams. His teams has went toe to toe with the big names in Class 6A and easily could have went into FDs win column the last 2 years. I don't recall anyone that has done that unless its been a Class 6A powerhouse team being Male, Trinity or ST X or a Boyle County type team. FD is one of Kentuckys best teams. I don't see the rest of the field begging to put them on the schedule.
