Raceland at Lexington Christian Academy 11/01

RPI could shake up quite a bit tonight with some possible, not probable, but possible upsets.

Cville at Hart Co
Raceland at LCA
KCD at Henry Co
Sayre at Bethlehem
Hazard at Clay Co

Are all games that could have upsets that affect the make up of the final 1A RPI standings.

NCC will likely get a win over Holmes which could make things interesting as well.

Still think Boyd County can beat Pikeville also. Possible, not probably as you said. Prove it time for Pikeville.

I think some of you Panther people are over estimating Boyd Co…

I think some of the Ram fans have Pikeville in their head and over estimating the Panthers and I one Pikeville fan have not seen them play a full game and up to their potential all year so why should it happen now but I hope they prove me wrong

Nah Pat ….Boyd isn’t that good. They will look good for a couple plays on offense then they always get behind the chains by committing a big penalty or making a really bad play. I’ve watched them three times this year. Pikeville won’t have a issue tonight.

Well…hate to admit it but JP was right…this one is goina get ugly. For the first time, really all year, even against Highlands. We look slow and flat.

Raceland looks like that they don't want to be there.

I don’t like how we look this evening

Worst we have looked from an intensity standpoint. Offense looks good. Had our chances. Moved the ball. Couldn’t punch it in from the 1 before the half. Gotta limit big plays and the game could get interesting. We have looked shell shocked

I do like the fact that Mike has stayed the course with the offense. Really thought the defense would make them work for their points more though. LCA is fast as hell though. Imo, the fastest team we have played.

They woke up in that 2nd quarter and played good defense and had a really good drive to end the half. It really hurt not being able to punch it in on 4th and goal right before halftime to cut the score in half.

Also I I’m not one to get too upset about calls but I think we got hosed out of a touchdown on that 4th and goal play and had a bad spot.

I have been listening to it sounds like Raceland has played pretty good and moved the ball well

Got two REALLY questionable spots in a would be TD and just now on 4th and 2 from the 5. LCA capitalizes again with a big play. Offense has improved. Just not enough against a team like LCA.
#43
Well look at that…..not a blowout at all. If that TD was called correctly, 25-19 minimum. Hmm.

Much like the LCA/Pikeville game, it came down to a few plays here and there, ironically enough our RB1 out as well…Some really unlucky calls inside the LCA 5. One a TD ruled not a TD (LCA stream-broadcasters even said it should have been ruled a TD), and the spot on the 4th and 2 from the 5 was really bad. But, you gotta play above it and our defense was uncharacteristically sluggish this evening. Was the first game all year the offense really outperformed the defense, imo. Even though we only put up 2 scores, we were right in the thick of it had a few other things went our way. That being said…I was very impressed with LCAs speed across the board and their size. Idk if they had one “fat” kid. Every kid looked like they were either 6’0 200 or 6’4 250. I don’t see them making much of a run in 2A past the regional round though due to their lack of discipline. But man are they fast in every direction

LCA’s OL play the last two years has really impressed me with their speed. They can run the hell out of a buck sweep

The Raceland Rams got screwed!! No other way to say it. One of the worst refereed games I’ve ever encountered . Our kids played their A$$e$ off tonight. Score should have been 34-25 Raceland. What bunch of horse crap!

I agree.  At a minimum it should have been 25-20.  That no touchdown call before halftime was one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.  Even the LCA announcers were questioning it.
