Dodgers/Yanks for the WS
#1
Talking about a heavyweight fight for this year's World Series! Should be fun to watch.
#2
Just the matchup I was hoping for... NOT!!!
#3
I cannot stand either team, I will not watch a single pitch.

Should be a good match up.

Not a fan of either of these teams.  All though,  I do believe there's something special about fall baseball in NY,  in Yankee stadium.  It's almost magical.

And that's coming from a die hard Atlanta Braves fan here!  The Yankees used to whip up on my Braves in the World Series all the time! Still there's just something special about watching playoff baseball in NY  Wink

Not a fan of either team but I am a fan of baseball so I will be watching. I think it could go down as a great series

This is what I feared would happen as soon as the postseason started, I told my dad if it did I wouldn't watch a single game, and I will hold true to my word.

I understand that this is what MLB wanted, to have 2 of the historic franchises play for a World Series, ratings boom about to happen. Star players on both sides, biggest markets.

But as a Red Sox fan, I just can't watch it, not even for love of the game, and the greatness of October baseball.

Knowing that you are a Red Sox fan this makes sense, lol. I am a Reds fan so I was really glad to see Cleveland not make it.

Could you rig it any better.

So predictable. I knew what your post was even before I read it.

The Dodgers and Yankees were the best two teams in the game, with the best players in the game. It's no surprise that they are the two teams left standing.

Was it rigged last year when it was a mediocre Arizona team vs Texas?  Just dumb, dumb sh!t!!!

From a ratings perspective? Wouldn't put it past the MLB having something to do with this. Especially after the ratings & viewership tanked for the WS last year. They know damn good and well it wouldn't if it's Dodgers-Yankees. All about the almighty dollar!

Dodgers up 2 games to none going into Game 3 tonight. Been no disappointment with the offense for sure. Freeman has started the series off with a bang with the walk off grand slam in Game 1 and going yard again in Game 2.

Glad to see the former Atlanta Brave,  Freeman  have a big series thus far.  Game one NY walks everyone to get to him.  He goes yard with a grand slam.

During the press conference after game one,  Freeman gave credit to his dad.  His dad would have batting practice with him daily,  and pitch to him. You could tell him and his dad had a special relationship.

Let's see if NY can get something going,  now that they have some home games.

I have been a Yankees fan all my life. My favorite MLB player was always Don Mattingly. I always rooted for the Reds, Yankees, and Tigers in that order. It looks like the Dodgers are outclassing the Yankees big time. Too bad. I have never liked them.

Freeman with another home run last night! What a series he is having!
Dodgers win one more and Freeman's got my vote for mvp  Wink

Yankees got their bat's going last night and got a win.

LA leads now 3-1

Freeman for LA hits another home run last night.  He's got a HR in every game this series so far.  That's pretty awesome right there! I'm sitting here thinking,  why was my Atlanta Braves not able to hold onto this guy?  Sad  That could've been us in this world series  Smile

Let's see what happens in game 5 tonight

Game 5 the Dodgers come back from five runs down to get the win.  Dodgers win the World Series 4-1

Freddie Freeman rightfully and deserving wins the WS MVP award.

Even though the Dodgers won 4 games to 1, it was a good series. Very entertaining and full of offense.

Well I held true to my word and didn't watch a single inning of this series. I thought I was gonna have to be for the Dodgers, bc I sure didn't want to see the Yankees come back from 3-0 and win it all! Luckily that didn't happen.

Congrats to the Dodgers, WS Champs.
