Solid win for the Bobcats!
I know it must've been a difficult week for BL coach, Jarredd Jarrell. I'm glad he was able to coach his boys tonight. I don't think they would've won this game without him on the sideline.
Pike Central went for the win, but a false start on the 2pt conversion was critical. Varney nearly scored from the 7, but come up short at the 1, Hawks still managed to have a opportunity with like 30 seconds or so to win, but the Hawks just don't have enough firepower offensively for situations like that.
Andrew McCutcheon deserves to be mentioned for Mr. Football. Kid is 5'7 140lbs soaken wet (just a guess), but he plays like he's 6' 200lbs. Great balance, runs through arm tackles, shifty, has all the moves. Heckuva toter of the rock.
