I will have to dissect this one tommorow. But couple things I will add without watching the video of this one.

1. Hazard has to clean the stupid penalties up.
2. Gonna have to get some pressure on the quarterback because he has all day back there.
3. First time I saw Hazard get that lead and let up off the gas. They got real dang conservative after going up 32-23. They been all go first 3 games. Possible it being coaches home school nerves come into play.
4. Hazards freshmen made some mistakes in this one…. Good thing they will learn.

Hats off to Letcher for absolutely leaving it out there on the field. These teams absolutely beat each other up. Hard hits galore. Letcher may of finally decided to lean on its ground game a little more. Seems to run the ball more than they did in the other games.

Definitely should’ve lost this game. To many foolish penalties. To be honest, after watching the game I don’t feel like it should’ve been anywhere close. I think hazard is 3 td’s better than letcher but those stupid penalties sometimes come back to bite you and it almost did last night.

Hazard started playing "not to lose" instead of playing "to win". And those penalties MUST be cleaned up, or they ain't going nowhere!!

Letcher is the worst coached team in the state. Letcher once again with a 4 turnover game and playing without Koby Johnson was to much to overcome. Hazard was by far the worst team that letcher has lost to this year and I don’t know if Letcher will win another game. Bad Qb play and poor coaching is killing this team. I’m hearing Koby Johnson may be out for a while so there goes your best player.

I thought this was the best coaching game of Letcher this season. They made two bad decisions in my opinion. One on not punting late in the 4th and 2 going for the field goal. Should of went for it.

Yes they are stupid penalties too. I can live with a couple face mask penalties.l but the rest after you stopped the play is just stupid.

This was just a good physical football game with a good finish. As everyone already said Hazard must clean up the penalites as two big ones ended up leading to an extended drive and two scores. Plus, the extra point situation has to be figured out. Not sure how many extra points they left on the field but it was enough to have put the game out of reach. Letcher ran the ball better against Hazard than the previous teams and they held Hazard in check most game. Good to see the Dawgs back in these types of games though. Last year was hard to watch and last year this one would have been another running clock.

This was one of coach Matthew’s better coaching performances that I’d saw. Made some defensive adjustments that slowed down the run game and got pressure on the QB. Ran the ball pretty well against what had been a pretty solid run stopping defense. Should’ve went for it at the end of the game is the worse decision I think he made last night.

Exactly right. I’m not bashing the girl by any means. She did as good as she could being in the situation. Kicking into the hazard pep section end zone with the game on the line was a lot of pressure. That’s my reasoning for saying I thought that was the wrong decision. They’d been moving the ball well that drive best I can recall. Good hard fought physical game. Good luck to letcher the rest of the way.

Wonder if being out of timeouts played a role in their decision making. They called their last timeout earlier in the drive.
