Right now FC is making green mistakes.. Defenders losing assignment all over.. Letting tackles slip through their hands and they seem to be having a real hard time with receivers right now.. Just young player mistakes like turning into the pass when they should have turned away, easy, just crazy easy dropped passes and so on... I'm hoping they get things together and start playing more cohesively... Right now, its tough to make a pic not know anything about Powell..
I do they think they ill come together as a team. I just hope its sooner rather than later..

Floyd Central is starting to figure a few things out, their strength is in the running game, which is a major adjustment from last year’s passing attack losing Buck, Peterson, and McDonald. The new Buck in town, Wesley, had an impressive catch this past week on a strong secondary in Leslie County. They need to utilize him 4-5 times per game, but for the most part, run the ball. They need to use Curry in the run game more, this kid is a monster and it’s time to unleash the beast and take part of the load off of Shelton.

I believe they will continue to get better every game. They have some young talent that are just now getting their feet wet. The offensive line looked strong with Nick Hall and Will Wells on the same side, which was a smart adjustment from week 1. If coaching can get it together then I think Floyd Central can still win a few games this season.

Do not sleep on Powell County. Seen them in the preseason, they’re improved over the last few years. FC may win, but would not be surprised if the Pirates pull this one out.

Powell is in some variation of the spread and if the QB is back tonight they are gonna be tough! But he did get injured last week so I am not sure if he plays tonight. He is a difference maker and super athletic to be so young. I think it will be an interesting game!

When the qb is healthy Powell is a much more dangerous team. Don’t see them making a ton of noise in the playoffs but could surprise a few teams.

Halftime Floyd Central 24 Powell County 22 looks like to me both teams came up with big turnover on downs stops the last two possessions. I think if Powell would have run 1 more time they would have been in business in that last drive. But a good game so far. I thought the ball slipped on Floyd Centrals last throw and it looked like it still was almost caught. So, lots of good close plays and big plays in this one. Dandy!!
