Magoffin County at Leslie County. Thoughts?
#2
Is leslie playing any real competition this year from what I've seen they've had a pretty easy schedule
#3
I want to see if Magoffin line play can hold up, they made some huge holes for the run game last week and was in the backfield all game against Lewis County. I don't think the Lions even crossed the 50 yard line, maybe once or twice. I am taking Leslie but the young Freshmen from Magoffin are getting better with each snap they take. This game should tell us where Derossett has these guys development wise.

Leslie will air it out this week and win big. Collett to Kilburn for 200 plus yards

Leslie 48-12

200 yards to just kilburn is kinda grasping at straws when it seems Collette running the ball is Leslie's best offensive play I know the kid also has an arm but I think they gotta stick with what works an right now it's will the ball in Collettes hands due to a weak offensive line imo!

And still They’ve started out 1-1 with the winning game they found them selves having to claw their way back from being down 16-0. Fortunately for Leslie this should give them their 2nd win.

I agree, this game will give everyone a little bit better of an idea of how much Magoffin has improved. If Magoffin keeps it close or were to somehow pull out a win, Coach D. is rebuilding faster than most expected. Magoffin is playing a young group, and they are going to get better every week, but will Leslie be too much to handle. I'm thinking Magoffin plays better than most expect, but being at Leslie and having the duo of Collette and Kilburn will eventually take it's toll on the young Hornets. I wish Coach D. the best and his best years are yet to come at Magoffin.

Leslie - 42
Magoffin - 28

Leslie's no powerhouse, but these kids battle. Lost basically all offensive line with exception of Dalton Hoskins who unfortunately cannot play the rest of year with heart condition. Yes, Leslie has Collett, Kilburn, Simpson. But the majority of this team has never seen varsity reps at all. there are alot of underclassmen on this team that have never played.

Go Eagles!!!

Leslie County is at their best when Collett has the ball on designed runs and scrambles out of the pocket. If they want to play their best football they need to stick to that gameplan.

This comment makes no sense, unless I’m missing something.

Magoffin is young, but plays sound football and doesn't make very many mistakes. If they can find a way to be in this game late, they'll have a shot at pulling off the win.

I'm going to take Leslie because I feel like they have a big advantage in overall talent, but Magoffin is no pushover... Eagles win, 28-16.

Hate to hear about k.burn
Kid had a bright future, cut a little short

I know Kilburn has been a hot topic on here and for the wrong reasons, but it's never been anything to do with him as a player or a person.
Hope he and his family find some peace.

Praying for him.
