Hoot was JC's 2nd biggest fan on here.

JC's biggest fan, well that title goes to none other than? Wait for it! Drum roll please ? ? ? ? ?  Dougie!

PJ is JC's #1 fan here by far.  No one talks about a team like that unless there's true feelings of respect there ? True feelings of love ♥️ and compassion! PJ Doug and the JC Golden ? are a match made in heaven ?

McCoart is back after not playing in the very close game Pikeville won last year. He is a stud. JC will stack the line on defense and key on Anthony every play. Margin for error in this game is close to zero as there won't be a lot of possessions with both teams' ground games grinding and eating clock. Tossup IMO...

They should just start calling you Lou Holtz in Pikeville. You know and I know that Pikeville is gonna kick the sh!t out of JC. They will kick them SO hard that Hoot will get a hernia from all the way in northern Virginia. Btw, I wish to hell he would quit texting me. How did he get my number anyway? Here's what he texted:  " Pikeville will feel what it's like to get ass kicked for second week in a row by a school with bigger numbers. Like Ms Gibson says, 'Size does matter--- in football and in romance. Guess that's why she ran off with the UPS guy. "  Sad       P.S. "Pikeville might not even score in this one."

Thank you, Kong. May I just call you King?  I'm here to entertain my readers and give them some laughs. Poor ol' Hoot was unable to laugh at anything. And he certainly won't be laughing this weekend after Pikeville gives his Eagles a bad case of cat scratch fever.
Your Welcome  Wink
You can call me King if you want.  Although I feel like I need to work my way through the ranks here to even get close to that title. My wife says I'm the king of skipping chores around the house to go fishing! Been working on that for years now  Smile

Those days are long gone because of the polarization and radicalization of people's views, mostly propagated, perpetuated, and exacerbated by tribal politics and the cesspool that is social media. Sad, really.  Tip O'Neil and Ronald Reagan would be very sad today.

As are the rest of us. You should help out by not blaming everything on Republicans. You are the last person on the planet who would have ever worked with Ronald Reagan or any other Republican.

Back to football
You guys in the 13th region shouldn't be measuring IQs, state championships, body parts or anything else with Hoot Gibson.

Back to the game. 1. If McCoart would have played last year JC would have beaten Pikeville. 2. Blake Caudill who rushed for 110 yards and the winning TD against JC last year got 0 touches against Corbin.

3. I don't sandbag.

Same here. Turnovers and penalties will be huge plus 1 or 2 huge plays either way...

Please bring a large sack of money to the game.

Unless you have some inside information, I see this being a close low scoring game with the score flipped.

So good to see you on here. I hope you guys beat Paris and I think it can happen.
No inside info on Pikeville and it looks like we agree it's a very close game. I just give JC the edge with McCoart.

You telling me jet named a score and Pikeville is getting beat….. ain’t no way!!!

#14 was all over the field on offense and defense in last year's battle. An MVP award well deserved.

In this game I look forward to seeing his continued progress containing the left defensive side.

#6 will be given the green light to air out, unlike his average 9-11 passes/game.

Both teams will be aching to avenge the previous week. JC will work hard on trying to break Pikeville's defensive line with a constant pummeling run attack.

I'll add that conditioning will play a big factor in the 4th quarter, and see Pikeville using this to their advantage.

I can't seem to make myself vote against JC for some reason. I guess it's because of their
recent history up there. I just can't do it, JC for the WIN!!
#59
I think this will be a great game. I expect both to come out swinging. two tough mountain teams. I would make the trip for this one if the Hounds weren't playing.
#60
I felt like Pikeville held up pretty well against Corbin’s run game last week, it was Elam and his shifty receivers that caused the Pikeville defense havoc. Now Pikeville will see a more powerful, bruising running attack this week which honestly they may match up better against. If they can hold JC to under 21 then I think they pull out the win. I look for the offense to take a little step forward this week, I’m thinking Pikeville in the 24-30 range and JC in the 14-21 range. Should be another physical affair between two highly motivated teams. Hopeful both teams come out injury free and both show signs of improvement from their first weeks games.
