Danville will go 0-11 again next year. Best player transferred to Mercer County. Danville will have a JV team playing varsity schedule. Heard they had 14 kids at spring practice.

I have got some Leslie kids that have family that own property next to me. I get to see them when they are over visiting family. They love their program and love football. Leslie is our grass roots communities here in the mountains. Hard living. I loved the conversations with these kids. I applaud the Leslie coaches they have done a good job with these two I know, and I know that is with all the rest of the kids. I hope they win as many games as they can!!! I'll be cheering!! I tried like heck to recruit lol......Just kidding.. They loved talking football though...

This will be solid district this year. I for sure see Somerset as the front runner . Breathitt it not far behind but going be hard for Breathitt to replace the Combs brothers production on offense and defense. They still have pieces to be very dangerous and could potentially win this district. Also Lesile Co is going be solid team. They could potentially knock off either Breathitt or Somerset. Should be pretty interesting see who comes out with 1 seed.

I am confused as to why you singled out Leslie as not being able to compete but Leslie didn't finish last is my only point.

Seems more reasonable to single out Danville in this specific instance.

I was contacted today that Danville's middle school team may not have enough players to play this fall.   That's always a wait till August situation but not a good one if its close to true.

I hate hear that !!! One of most storied football programs in state Kentucky. The talent is there!!!! Just need to find a way to keep it at Danville . I think it was crazy get rid of Coach Clevenger. He was heck of a coach.
